I think I finally figured it out.

Persona 1: Nina is the delusional, ghetto trash, attention seeking persona that has incredibly thin skin and can't stand it if any other dancer gets any attention. It drives her nuts if anyone doesn't recognize her as being the best at everything. Though she denies it, she's a high volume, low price extras girl who is proudly carrying on the family occupation. Persona 2: Nicole is the alterego troll, but still an admitted attention seeker. Whoever the real Nina/Nicole is, this is one part of her personality that she can't hide.
