As much of a rare specimen that I know myself to be (lol), if a girl approaches me out of the blue like that with an unsolicited offer, then she is likely doing the same with anyone who she thinks can pay the freight. I would probably pass, at least upfront. I can't rule out the possibility that a combination of alcohol and a lack of other immediate options could change my mind later in the evening. ;)

Not only would I not do ITC/OTC I'd pass on dances too. Who knows what came from where or when.
I get excited by these type of direct OTC offers. But they don't come from the most beautiful dancers. Somewhat middle of road dancers. But if the dancer was just my type - I'd likely take it.
I missed two OTC offers in the past from dancers just my type - only to regret later. That was newbie years and I was astounded when I heard the "take out" offer. But now I'll be ready.
