Traveling dancers.

How long do these gals stay in one place? Do they look for clubs that don't have permit requirements? Just here for a major event?

I have not run into many but don't have much use for them. Seems like they are not interested in cultivating regular customers. Just grab and run. Their MO tends to be on the ROBish side. Of the ones that I have come across, the mileage was lower than the other dancers at the same club. If I know that she is a traveling stripper, I will probably turn her down for dances.

We had a Ford Explorer full of traveling dancers come through a month or so ago. Grabbed one up and it was a terrible experience. No mileage,no lap dancing skills were non existent.

Yep, zero interest in traveling dancers and will actively avoid them if I can identify them, although that isn't much of an issue anymore in this city. Used to be lots of traveling dancers years ago. I reckon traveling dancers are usually nightshift girls, looking at the non-PL nightshift crowd in most cases

As many times as you wrote about PP my guess would be that you met a true traveler. She was always there for Masters week and also when the big traveling schools would play SC. One of the few who ever talked a dude into buying the 5K bottle of shitty champagne . That girl is all over the country following sports events , trade shows and stuff like when the golfers flock south to the beach .

I'm familiar with a traveling dancer who supplemented her income by "escorting" when not dancing. She had her cat who traveled with her and they would spend 1 or sometimes 2 weeks in a given location.
She used to advertise in Backpage and see customers in her hotel room. It's funny in that she'd stay at seedy hotels, but would rent the best suite the hotel had available in order to spread out. She claimed to be doing very well.

I knew a dancer who would travel to places where she wanted to vacation. She told me she could go anywhere, get a job dancing at a strip club, and pay for her vacation.

^Jackslash - precisely.

This is how I am when I take vacations. If I'm planning one with my friends I tell them, "just so you know, I'm gonna dance at club so-and-so for two or three shifts while we're there." If I can make it make up for traveling costs, and experience new clubs, it's a win/win for me.

I’m guessing it’s the variations in experiences that might make them stricter about contact. I’ve only danced ever in one area so I don’t bat an eye over boob/butt touching for $20. However, I’m sure if I started elsewhere I’d be irritated about that kind of thing.

That and the “fresh face” factor gives one an advantage (unless it’s a club that has mostly travelers)

I used to work dayshift at a club that was filled with extras (to the point many didn’t even bother taking it to VIP) and I was top earner cause of the fresh face factor (and probably my looks too) But then I switched clubs anyways. It would have been exhausting to keep up with staying there.

I have had good experience with traveling dancers before however I still would avoid them as I like to find and stick to favorites.

If a travelling stripper is attractive to me and shows all the signs of a good lap dancer then I won't treat her any different than meeting a new local stripper. Also if they come from a high mileage city (like Phoenix) I don't worry about them as much as ones from low mileage cities (like San Jose).

Ive only encountered a few in my clubbing years. I think it’s due to the type of clubs I attend. The lower end clubs might not have the drawing power of larger gentlemen’s clubs.

3 or 4 nights tops - generally Thursday - Sunday. I just like the change of scenery and the flexibility of being able to go out to generally vacation during the day and work at night. Plus, increased opportunity to run into TUSCL mongers. :D I didn't even think custies had an opinion on them until now.

I normally don't have a bad time adapting to the club atmosphere because I always stick to the same kind (nude/non-alcohol bars) when I go around. With this, I also don't have to adjust my hustle much - if at all - and I can work as hard as I normally would working at home.

My ATF and her girlfriend are traveling dancers. They go to popular tourist destinations (Vegas, New York) and pay for their trip by dancing. She's my ATF; I don't have mileage problems with her.

I 'm of 2 minds about traveling girls. One of my old favorite clubs used to, on a typical weekend night, have about a third of their dancers be traveling girls and they all invariably weren't worth it. OTOH, every girl I have ever met and got to know to some advanced degree travels at some point. Even my old favorite who would dance at her club 5 nights a week had to leave town once in a while.

Some cities have a much higher likely hood of meeting a transient dancer. Like Las Vegas. If I meet a dancer who says “I danced in COI clubs before coming to LV” I’m all in. If she came from Orlando, not so much.

Funny you ask. One of my favs suddenly returned to Oasis. Asked her where she had been, and she gives me long story about being traveling feature dancer on the road. She said it sucked, as she was only at a place for a week or two and never got her 'regulars' going. She gave it a year, and decided to come back to ATL.

She was nice girl next door type with good personality, that took awhile to warm up to people. Thus the short stints were not here thing. ............. If she would have been hit an run girl it would have worked.
