How much do strip club owners and management pay attention to TUSCL? Last night I was entering a club new to me in SoCal. The door guy asks how I learned of the place, I'm assuming to get feedback on their marketing efforts. I told him I read about it on TUSCL (saying the words...not the acronym) and he looked at me completely blank. I started to explain the site to him and he said "I'm putting down as Yelp."
I was both puzzled and pleased strip club management could be so clueless about our little treasure here.
SC owners and managers are not the best and brightest. They should be looking at TUSCL and other sites to understand what customers are saying about their clubs. But they're too ignorant and lazy.
I think it’s like a busy and successful restaurant, they probably don’t pay much attention to Yelp reviews. The ones that are always looking to improve their image to bring in more business watch it closely.
The shill reviews are from clubs suffering, somewhere like Rhino in Vegas could give two shits what’s posted on here as long as it doesn’t get them in trouble.
I would think they would be aware of and pay some attention to this site. But strip clubs and the sex world continually surprise me and I sometimes think it’s just an alternate universe.
^ Deja Vu was monitoring the reviews on TUSCL for its clubs for a while, but it seems lately they have stopped, possibly because the average person has exposure to Facebook, Google, etc. but not TUSCL, and therefore wouldn’t have read any reviews on TUSCL, which are not free for the general public to read anyway.
The links they post in the comments go to a personal video message to the reviewer on the respective club’s Facebook page. If you have seen enough of those video messages, you will notice that the club managers and employees are just simply following some sort of corporate policy as a lot of the messages are very generic.
I assume some of the bigger more "professionally" managed clubs, as well as perhaps the corporate ones, are probably aware of TUSCL and may follow it - but overall it seems more of the exception
Same as what s275 said about DejaVu. My local club was doing the same but stopped. I thought maybe I wasn't worthy of a response after my last critical review because they had buttered up the few guys before me with the bullshit" Joe Blow check your Facebook page for your personal message".
These clubs don't give a shit what we think. Most of them have their heads up their ass.
I do watch what I say about my ATF though because I know the owners keep and eye on the reviews.
I’d think it’s rare for club mgmt to read reviews on this site. I’d think it’s even rarer for club mgmt to act on the review information to make club changes/improvements.
