DOUGSTER: 10 Questions Resurrected

shailynn
They never tell you what you need to know.
10 Questions would certainly not be complete without asking Doug. When I first started posting on TUSCL years ago Doug was kinda a dick to me, but over time he certainly has mellowed and when he isn't busy trolling someone his posts are pretty damn informative. I've learned a lot especially with his newest fascination, crypto-currencies. Doug is well traveled and has visited many clubs all over the US as well (just read his very well written reviews). Either way, I always thought Doug is an extremely busy businessman who hangs out here as an escape (I can relate) or he's a fat guy living in a basement with nothing to do (lol) either way, here we go...

1. If I remember correctly you've seem to move frequently for your job. What's the best city you've lived in, and the worst, and why?

2. Everyone knows you don't like Ricky D and Vince, name a few guys on here you DO like and why?

3. I think I remember you and Ricky D reviewed a club in NY on the same day, meaning you guys probably missed each other by hours. What would you say if you ran into Ricky D in a strip club and knew it was him?

4. Favorite strip club in the USA and why?

5. What's something you like to do in your spare time?

6. Name 3 of your favorite restaurants in the USA?

7. If you could hang out with any TUSCL member at a club for an evening (that you like) who would it be?

8. Name 1 TUSCL member that no longer posts that you truly miss hearing from?

9. Who is crazier and why? SJG or Alucard?

10. Name somewhere in the USA you want to visit but haven't been there yet?

    1) I've only worked in 4 four cities in my life and 3 since I've been out of school. (I turned down the request to move to Banglore, India, but they are bringing it up again.)

It's close between NYC and Seattle for which is the best. Both entrepreneurial cities loaded with smart people/ambitious people, and "progressive" without going totally overboard like Portland.

I'd give the edge to Seattle because it's less crowded and there is more "nature" around it as opposed to the Eastern seaboard which is more a huge slab of concrete. Also it's a bit more relaxed. People will often be home by 6pm or even 5pm for dinner. In NYC good looking seeing many people show up back at home before 7 or 8pm.

There are many benefits to NYC crowdedness, however. For instance, no matter how obscure your interest you can find large groups of others also interested, and you probably won't have to travel far.

Can't say I've lived in any cities I didn't like overall, but my home town (a small city) was rather redneck.

    2) Lots of guys I like here. 25, Random, Che are very smart. Juice, crazyjoe, and txtittyfag are funny as hell. jackslash is also funny. sharkhunter is just cool overall as is Papi. I've probably missed many so don't be offended or assume you're not included if I didn't mention you!

    3) Ah, that was Gallangher's out in Queen's. I think we missed each other by a day. I don't know if I would say anything to him: just sit back and watch The System in action. I might throw out some bait and see if he wanted to talk about Strip Club'ism, but my impression is that he is super paranoid, keeps to himself when at the clubs and might recognize rather quickly that he'd been spotted and clam up.

    4) Burbon Street Circus because it has the.best looking girls. And it's always been my experience that the best looking girls are the most willing to do OTC!

    5) What's this spare time thing? If any go to strip clubs, or going to obscure interest groups.

    6) I'm definitely not a "foodie". Black Shack in NYC, Gino's in Chicago, and Red Robin for its burgers and Arctic Fish and Chips.

    7) Tough call! Maybe Che if I was in an intellectual mood, or Juice if I mostly wanted to goof around.

    8) I'd give a slight edge to farmerart, but SlickSpic is a close second.

    9) SJG is definitely crazier than Alucard. But if Alucard had been born with another 30 IQ points he could have ended up as SJG. It's the size of SJG's ambitions that make him crazier along with the violence thing. (Although we never learn what a "9" was.)

    10) I have actually not been to the Bay Area/Silicon Valley even though a number of friends and ex-colleagues who live/work there now. Got to correct that!

Now that would be an interesting meet, not that I believe he has the courage to do so. Come on down and join us next week, Douchester. I'm calling a impromptu meetup after the 10th. With luck,South Florida has been cleaned up fairly well by now.

"SJG is definitely crazier than Alucard."

That may be, but Alucard was more annoying. SJG does not send me PMs taking me to task for my comments that were clearly jokes. (Alucard did not understand jokes or humor.)

@vinceygirl: That's really good that you are going to have another gay pride rally in October. I guess you'll mark it down as more "military service" since you are fighting the war for social change in this country, right? Might as well be the same thing as combat, no? Sorry no time or even the slightest interest in attending.

"But if Alucard had been born with another 30 IQ points he could have ended up as SJG."
    -------------
LOL! I've never taken psychedelic drugs, but I imagine it would make @SJG's posts more relateable, even for a brief period. Wouldn't you like to live in a world where beautiful dancers want to make out with you in the front room? Where you could build an organization, without any real money, to change the world? Might make sense if you were really high.

"I turned down the request to move to Banglore, India"

Might want to think twice. I hear @Analyvone launched a very successful IT career there.

You would hate the South Bay/silicon valley strip clubs, that's for damn sure. They suck ass, which is probably why SJG doesn't set foot it any. A damn shame since there's a lot of money there for these lonely computer schmucks to burn.

Apparently there's quite an escort and drug scene down there. At least that's what I heard from watching TV. So those lonely schmucks are dealing with their loneliness in ways that aren't stripper but very close. :-)

    Yeah! Bourbon Street is #1!!

Of course if you know how to handle a hot chick you can lure her out of the club and into your pants for a pants party.

Forgot to mention Meat72 as one of my favorite poster. A guy with good market insights and, more generally, correct perspectives on most things.
