It appears that the number of trash/uninformative reviews, with no details, possibly fake, or vague recollections from a visit two years ago, just to get access to VIP, is on the rise. I know its a fine line, between what constitutes a short but informative review, and a trash review, but I wish there was some kickback on those razor thin to make them give more details for VIP access.
You write down three lines of vague details about what your friend told you about the club on his visit three years ago, and that opens up access to Papi Chulo's Encyclopedia Striptanica? Doesn't seem like a fair deal to me.
I tried flagging one for "The Show Bar" https://www.tuscl.net/u-r.php?UID=468481 since it describes a visit on a day and time when the club wasn't open - Monday afternoon, when the club is only open Thursday-Sunday nights. Flagging didn't seem to do anything, though, so I just left a prop pointing out that the review was posted for a time and day the club isn't open. The history of props on that account's reviews call it out for reviewing clubs that were closed for renovation during the visit reviewed, don't match well-known details, etc.
Since flag function isn't widely used (or, if used, doesn't make it online), Founder should consider dropping "Flag" function and changing description from "Props" to "Comments". Then, all comments, either positive or negative, would appear in one place.
It's Founder's job to reject pointless reviews; he once rejected one of mine years ago for all those complaints. These days I make an effort to be more informative or at least entertaining.
I'll reiterate that I really don't know, but I get the impression that props outweigh flags. Meaning if I flag a review saying its too short & then you come in and prop it, then my flag basically gets ignored. Whoever reads them doesn't read the prop to see that it says the same thing. I've seen a number of shitty reviews get pulled after I flaged them. The ones that stay up after I flag them seem to be the ones someone else props, almost always with negative comments.
I flag a lot of fake/useless reviews, but they rarely get taken down. Like Dolfan said, you have to waste time sorting through several uninformative reviews to get to one's with actual details.
It is true - lot of BS reviews to get access. A month or so ago - I guy gave a review on a club that had burned down two months prior to the alleged review date - that was a classic...

I don't care so much about the submitter getting VIP, but I find it distracting to have to fish through so many shit reviews to find any substance
