Agree that way too many dancers after not so many customers. This is based on my recent experience going to a few clubs.

If some dancer tries that, they are not going to get anything from me. That's just pure laziness, or probably excessive spending.

I HATE it when I walk past a girl talking to her customer and i hear her hard up, no money stories! I know that lots of girls use them as thier gimic, but come on! who is realy buying it! We make way more than the average blue collar worker, and that mainly who we are getting our money from!.. Sorry sensitive subject for me.

Hapopens in every industry that gets fat, greedy and lazy. Oversupply of clubs and no more quality screening of dancers. Clubbing costs money and a lot of guys are not able to throw away big money. They should have thought of this when dances went to $25, tipping for everything and pay pay pay became the mantra. Now don't get me wrong. I go and have fun, but not as often and don't get as many dances as I used to. Corporate guys have been told that strip clubs for entertaining will not be allowed or reimbursed. That killed a lot of the traffic.

All you need to do is take a look around the clubs. FONDL is dead on in his estimation. Most dancers I have talked to about this completely agree.

I was struck by your comment that the customer base is declining and the number of strippers increasing. Do you have any evidence of that or is it just a feeling and what do you think is the cause of this trend.

Yoda, we all avoid the hard-luck-story girls like the plague. That's why their "luck" is so bad. Plus as I've said before, I think the strip club customer base is declining and at the same time the number of strippers is increasing. The easy-money days are over for many of these girls.

I'm not hearing any hardluck stories except when I watch the evening news. Of course I haven't been to any clubs in the last couple of weeks either.

Here is some of the hard luck I read/heard on the news (CNN news) 1 in every 5 people has at least $5,000 in credit card debt. 1 in every 10 people has at least $10,000 in credit card debt. Any strippers out there with credit cards? Probably only strippers with second jobs or married.

If you're optimistic you can hear a silver lining in the middle of bad news. There was a massive 70 car pile up on a major highway in Pennsylvania in white out conditions and traffic was backed up for 20 miles. However there were no fatalities and I believe I heard no serious injuries (a silver lining). Just wanted to spread some holiday cheer.

The Christmas guilt trip is here, but I refuse to hear it.

I've heard dancers universaly bitching that the money isn't what it used to be. There is always gonna be some skank who blows her money and tries to lay some BS line on you about a bill she has to pay or her kids hospital bills but my favs are all smart with their money and don't live and die by one night's earnings. I avoid the "hard luck story" girls like the plague.
