clubbing at high cost lap dance clubs

All the clubs where I live have alcohol, decent to great contact dances, and the dances only cost $10 (and some places even $5). How much do dances cost where you live?
How can you afford to go to places that charge $20, $30, or more for dances and still have fun? I need at least 10-15 per trip to enjoy myself, but that would be extremely difficult if I had to shell out $30 or more for dances, especially if the contact is minimal on top of that.

I'm buying less and less dances. Many of the dancers want too much money or two for ones are only offered once an hour in one club. It's not as much fun just to watch girls on stage. However I am saving a lot more.
In my favorite clubs the dances are done in private booths. I generally spend $300 to $400 on "lap dances."
If you want lappers you pay $20, wait for a few 2fers or go without.
Nevertheless, you become very selective with potential girls and respond quickly to changes in dance 'quality' at area clubs, always prepared to switch clubs when out clubbing.
Where you live in U.S. makes a big difference -- "When in Rome....."
In Milwaukee, $20/dance is the lowest anyone goes. Even the "special" is two for $40, with the "special" featuring a T-shirt, a hat, a free admission pass, a cheap porn DVD, whatever. The high end is $35/dance with three for $90. Keep in mind, there's only a few clubs around here with a halfway decent selection, otherwise you're driving 45-120 minutes out of your way.
In Chicago, cheapest I've seen is $25/dance. $35 is common. Go to Indianapolis, however, and Brad's used to be $10/dance (think it's gone up since the last time I went). It's hard to gauge the pricing scheme in Detroit because so many other services can be negotiated.
There's only so much control we have over the market.
For years my choices were $60 ($100 for topless) for 2 cut-short songs at the Paper Moon, or drive 1.5+ hours.
I can "afford" that because lap dances per se aren't what I go for. I get one or two at a time from a select few dancers, generally one or two per visit, and then go to VIP for some negotiated fun.
1. Be very aggressive about seeking volume discounts like two for ones. Don't wait for the hourly specials. If you want to dance from a girl, tell her you will do it but only with a volume discount. As long as the club is not particularly busy, I find a lot of success with this. This usually gets the price down to a reasonable price per dance.
2. If there is no volume discount offered, I'm only paying a high price for a girl that is exceptionally beautiful, and one that promises lot of contact. In other words, I get far fewer dances and am much more picky at high price levels. I don't have as much fun, but I save money in the end.
By the way, charging outrageous prices is a horrible way to manage a strip club. It is absolutely clear to me from talking to many people that the club and the girls make less money under this sort of a system. Everyone makes a lot more money at lower prices because most of the guys are buying a number of dances. It's the same principle at work that makes Walmart so successful.
I have 7 clubs where I live (all pastie clubs), and ALL of them have over-priced dances. The Paper Moon has a 2 for 1 "special" but it costs $50 bucks and the two songs are short. And to make things worse, you have to pre-pay.
You can't get an actual lap dance at the Paper Moon without paying anything less than $50. I say actual lap dance, because they do offer table dances (for $20), but these are complete air dances and you'd be better off flushing your loot down the toilet than buying one of these.
