  You start by contacting clubs, preferably in person, to ask if they're hiring dancers. You may have to audition. Dancers of just about all figure types can get hired. Some clubs, in some areas, are fussy about who they'll hire. Other clubs, less so.
  
  Give us some background so you can get intelligent answers:
  
  1. Which city, or part of the country are you interested in?
  2. What is your age, ethnicity, and any other details about your appearance you're comfortable sharing?
  3. Are you interested in topless or nude clubs? (If you're under 21, you may be limited to non-alcohol clubs. Those are mostly nude clubs that do not serve alcohol.)
  
  Other members are likely to ask questions of you and make statements that you won't want to respond to. Beware.

  Size is less important than personality, but some clubs will only hire the skinny girls with big boobs. If you have a friendly outgoing personality, and don't mind older men touching you, you'll do well. If you're shy about your body or have an attitude that you "deserve" something based on your body, you won't make a dime.

  @skibum609 that's why you ask the chicks for a nude selfie that includes a sign that says something unique (i.e., unlikely to be easily available on the web). Never gotten one to comply... But then again the majority of women (all of them?) that post here are dudes fuckin' with the regular posters.

  1) this is a site made up mostly of male customers whom enjoy SCs
  
  2) given your subsequent comment; it appears you do not have the right attitude nor temperament to deal with customers in a SC
  
  3) as was suggested; if you want info on being a dancer, then go to a dancer website - stripperweb.com has a message board but also a lot of useful info for dancers already posted on their site
  
  
  w.r.t. being “meaty/thick” – IME the hiring trend seems to be towards the slim type girls particularly in the upper scale clubs and in the peak shifts (i.e. nightshift) – the thicker girls tend to either be hired for dayshift or in mid to lower tier clubs – but you won’t know unless you try and you would need to find out for yourself.
