  Just curious, but which casino (I hope it wasn't Circus Circus)? The girls were probably 'aware' of each other. Were they open to discounting? Were they better or worse looking than the talent at The Spearmint Rhino? I got the sense options were available from dancers at Rhino and Rick's but didn't inquire further. I knew prostitution in Vegas is illegal and was content to just check out the scenery. There's a real estate website called Redfin. Lookup a Vegas zip code and then feed it in to the Redfin website. Often Redfin shows the sales record for a property. From that info one can get a sense for just how weak the Vegas economy is now. And it's pretty bad. I'm guessing if the gals can't make the money in the clubs, they're trying to pickup guys in the bars...

  Curious post. It might be that the economy is worse than ever. The casinos/hotels have extensive security and have been quick to ensure this doesn’t go on. About six months ago I was sitting at the bar in a casino and a crack whore walked in off the street and propositioned me. She walked straight back out when I declined but I was somewhat stunned because, like I said, IME the casinos don’t allow this to go on out in the open.

  Perhaps there's a difference if they look like they fit in with the clientele vs. walking in wearing a leopard print one-piece with black leather cowboy boots (saw that one standing in front of the entryway to a casino in Reno.)

  on my many trips to Vegas, I have always been propositioned several times by the local independent "entertainment directors", especially at the casino bars. I agree that Vegas seems to have some of the hottest escorts around. noticed quite a few rail birds that hang around the gaming table watching for the big winner.

  in nevada, prostitution is illegal in any county with more than 400,000 residents. (all the brothels are out in the middle of no where becasue they have to be in a low population county.) I'm with GSWx4 on this, kind of supprised that casino security wasn't taking care of the situation. Unless they really blended in like CT said, the casinos don't tolerate anything. I don't have any personal experience on this, but I would also find it hard to believe that the casino would willing let UC's operate a stink inside the casino. This would also be dramma that the house just doesn't want.

  The first time I was approached in Vegas last year it was so subtle that I didn't realize it was a pitch until later. The second time was blatant. Both were in a high end strip hotel. I suspect that if they are not making a scene, they are tolerated.

  Went to Vegas 5 times between 2001-2006, I saw sexy hotel hookers all but the first time. At Bellaigio, Aladdin (now Planet Hollywood), and Mandalay Bay. All at or near the larger bars, all in the evening-midnight timeframe. I never saw any security around them. My friend went with me the last time. He ordered from those porn slappers cards you get when you walk Las Vegas Blvd. Now they drive billboard trucks around, also. The deal was $79 to your room. These cards are protected by free speech, as paying women to come to your room is LEGAL. The key is that you negotiate the prices if you want them to stay for more than 5 minutes. If you turn them down because they don't look like the picture on the card (they rarely do), they send another, unless you pay that $79. My friend negotiated $200 for one hour from some Korean woman, the third that he requested. I left the room and got the details afterward. He was pleased, but said there was zero connection, and it was very mechanical. (sounds like what we read on here all the time) Everyone involved knew it was illegal, but Vegas isn't looking to drive tourism away with prostitution arrests.

  The crazy thing about LV is that they usually don't look like working girls. The ones that do get kicked out by hotel security. LE mostly looks for street girls while the hotels take care of their own security so if you're in a strip casino she's not LE. There's still danger. There are girls that will take stuff from your room so keep valuables locked up. The other thing about Vegas is that there are lots of women who aren't working but are about as willing. There's still danger. They may end up costing you more.

  Thanks pop. I've heard that before. Girl comes in. You pay them. They literally walk out the door with your money, and there is nothing you can do to stop them because they know that you can't go to the police. I can tell everyone that the girls that propositioned me all looked "HIGH CLASS". Nobody walking around with the sign on them that said "I'm a hooker". Nobody with track marks. That's probably why I only saw security talking with one girl while I was there the whole week. (Oh, and I did see one girl with a big cold sore on the side of their face. I made sure I walked WAY out of her way). ;) CTQWERTY. I was in the Casino at The Venetian when that happened. I would say it did feel to me like the girls would have been open to negotiating if I had done that. For the record, the security was very tight going to the hotel elevators. But I watched a LOT of guys with an escort in tow walk them right by security. I'm guessing as long as you have a room key, they don't stop you, or whoever is with you. That's what made me want to ask the question. Like somebody is there saying "Yes, it's illegal, so you better make sure you keep it on the down low." Glad I asked the question.

  In this economy, the only girls getting turned away are the crack whores that make your dick shrivel up and make you want to run away. Otherwise, in every casino that I've been to in Vegas, I've seen high class whores at every turn. As long as they're clean, well dressed, and not harassing anyone, the casinos will turn a blind eye. After all, how else can they compete with Singapore and other casinos where you can however many women you want? Once the economy turns around, I can see them cracking down on that again, but until then, enjoy!

  I guess I did it wrong. Two years ago, I heard about these casino girls. I went to a lot of casino bar areas looking for hot woman sitting alone. I couldn't find any. I decided to go to strip club instead. Next time, I'll try just sitting and drinking alone.

  I've encountered casino girls several times but mostly night/late night. Surprises me they'd be combing the Venetian 10 AM - 4 PM on a NFL Sunday afternoon. Times are tough I guess.

  59 - Wasn't 10AM - 4PM. It was more like 10PM to 4AM. I had flown in late on Sunday night, and had missed a lot of the finals since I had been flying since 4:00pm that afternoon. That's why I went down to the bar there in the Casino. Usually in the 10AM to 4PM, you only see the old geezers pulling levers on the slot machines!! LOL!! :)

  From what I hear LE won't mess with tourist only the girls. The casino's don't want LE running off people. So you have about as much chance of getting busted by LE in a Vegas hotel casino as hitting the million dollar jack pot. Not saying it hasn't happened but God hates you if it does. lol
