Stay where the strippers stay!

This topic was inspired by the topic of dancers that live in other states. So where do the strippers stay? If they are just there for the weekend they probably stay at the likes of Motel 6. Not at the $150+ a night hotels. Now if they are going to be there a week or more, they probably will stay at a place like Extended Stay America. Where they have daily, weekly and monthly rates and have stoves, micro waves, refrigerators, etc. This is where I stay. At $60/night not the cheapest but within walking distance to my favorite club. An even bigger reason is the fact that a lot of dancers stay here. Not just the ones from out of town but also locals that need a temporary place to stay. I like the fact that you do not have to go through a lobby to get to your room. I have personally enjoyed afternoon delights with 3 dancers that I knew from the club. Just a 10 second trip from their room to mine. Even used one of their rooms once. I have seen many more around the hotel that I am relatively sure are dancers at the club. This might be a good thing to mention in reviews.

Also one stripper told me about couch surfing ([view link]) it's like a social networking site except you are trying to meet people who are willing to share their "couch" with you. aka a place to stay at their place. Also one stripper told me about staying in hostels. Basically small college dorms that universities or small rooms that businesses rent out during the summer when university is not busy. Also I have heard from a dancer that one of the local hotels that has a popular bar is her favorite place to stay. She drives 4 hours to come to Columbus, OH and stays there for the weekend. I think that is rather stupid because there is already a bar where she works, but she claims that the guys at work are mostly boring and flat...of course except for me (haha I know it was just her game to get me to buy dances, but whatever!) Motels are probably the best bet for you but these are other options.

I am confused, is this thread the expert opinion of dancer behavior, or just another chance to tout your SC experiences? Dancers I have known that travel to various locations stay with fellow dancers/friends in the area and a wide variety of hotels depending upon their income and class. One dancer, I knew recently made bi monthly visits to Treasures from Scottsdale, Az and stayed at the nearby Hyatt Regency. A lot of quality dancers will stay where they feel safe and secure.

Most strippers I know probably make $50-$100K tax free cash a year, I dont think they worry about couch surfing. I think a few customers probably could use the service after they've dropped a fortune at these clubs.

I was once working on a satellite system in a hotel and saw many customers that had the dancer "look". When I queried the manager, he told me that they were, in fact, dancers that had been imported to open a new local club. Was nice to see them in civilian clothing, such as it was. Because of distance, I didn't make it to the club then, but at a later time, I did. It closed about as quickly as it opened.

Didn't Extended Stay America file for bankruptcy recently? Maybe they should make "Stay Where the Stripper Stay!" their slogan. "Just 10 seconds from their room to yours!" Change their name to X-tended Stay. What've they got to lose?

Actually, the only time I stayed at one, I don't believe I saw a single stripper. The room smelled pretty bad, though, so who knows what goes on there?

Kinda a creepy thread. I am sure no harm was meant, but man, its like "lets go stalk the dancers!"

They usually stay in places like Island Suites, Suburban Suites, etc. Often it is usually with a bum BF who they are probably supporting. I remember meeting one for a session a couple of years ago who said "we can do it in my room, he probably won't be back for awhile." I opted to take her to a motel that rents the room for $25 for 2 hours. One I did for 3 years lived with her father along with her 4 kids in a one bedroom apartment. Guess who else lived there - the bum BF. When I helped her get her trailer I was hoping she would finaly get rid of him but I believe he was pimping her out the whole time.

I can certainly vouch for dancers staying at the cheap motels. Many of them, if they are in a small town, stay at a mom-and-pop motel. Whenever I make it to Ottawa, IL, home of 2 clubs, they often are seen at the Sands Motel, the cheap motel downtown (not far from the ceaselessly over-promoted site of one of the Lincoln-Douglas debates). I've had two OTC encounters where we both stayed at the same motel, and one of them happened there (coincidentally, the only black dancer I've had). I've also had a girl from Sasnak in Topeka, KS who also stayed at the same motel.

just wondering does anyone work at a motel or hotel? I met one guy at a strip club who said he works as a manager at Hilton and can get a room anywhere in the world at a hilton-owned property for $40 a night. Unfortunately I did not get to know him well enough because it turns out that he was bi-sexual and only wanted to get my number to hook up and fuck me...I thought he just wanted my number to go strip clubbing lol.

chandler, you are correct. I was not aware of it but did a search this morning and yes they did file Chapter 11 on June 16, 2009. 700 hotel affected. I have only stayed at two. I have had some minor problems with TV's etc but have never noticed a bad odor. I just checked rates and found that they have lowered the one night stay from $59.99 to $49.99. Too bad strippers and clubs don't understand common economics.

I did take a look at the Extended Stay Hotel when recently passing through Columbia, SC, but opted to stay a couple of miles up the road. With the amenities they offered at the price, I did wonder how well the model worked was working for them. Wonder who might pick up the properties? The hotels I've seen go under lately have stayed closed. To the point of the OP, depending on the location who knows? If it works...

Actually if they are smart strippers they do what my ATF does and what I do on the road. Log onto Priceline and name your own price. Depending on the city you can get a three star room for less than a motel 6 room. I get rooms at "extended stay" type properties for around $25 a night. Quite a few escorts I know do this as well.

anyone work a hotel used by traveling escorts? wonder how the management feels about being used for sex meetings?

I travel a lot for business and can say unequivocally that Comfort Inn is a very popular choice for strippers and hookers. I surmise it's because it's consistent, a little 'higher-end' at a fair price, and most importantly, they all have entrances apart from the main reception, unlike some other similarly 'nice' hotels. And it's been my experience that the management is often well aware of what's what.

10inches: Most larger hotel chains don't care what you do in the room as long as you don't attract attention to yourself. Motels and smaller hotels in suburban or rural locations are another story however. Only idiots work out of motels since it is VERY easy for the police to monitor traffic in and out of the room. The proliferation of cheap escorts using Craig's List and working indiscreetly out of suburban locations has brought a lot of undue attention to what goes on and many smaller hotels are now cooperating with local police departments in reporting suspicious behavior.

Chi-sam's comments are consistent with my experience. My former ATF stays at either Drury Inn's or Hampton etc. She works at PT's Sauget so would head to the hotel/restaurant clusters at Collinsville or Fairview Heights. As long as they aren't fully booked, they are happy to accomodate since she gets there around 6:30am Saturday morning and leaves by 4pm to head back to work. Would suspect they re-book the room.
