Great review, just FYI pretty much all COI clubs are extras heavy regardless of brand. Yes some girls are there for the hustle, some won't even do dances, some barely want to do normal VIP. But it can be lots of fun if you find your girl. The club takes 50% of the room fees so that's the motivation.
Some days like Monday are slow, whereas Thursday which has the best VIP rates is going to be packed (both Rhino and Synn). I actually liked Monday since it was relaxed and you could focus on your girl, rather than the faster paced hard sell that happens on Thursday. I've only gone on Monday once but I was the only customer at 9pm (many more came 10pm etc..), whereas Thursday of that same week it was 20 and later 30 people throwing money at the stage. When a popular girl was on stage the crowd of guys would follow her left and right as she performed, throwing money at her.
I will say some girls move between clubs, and when they're in the mood or need a lot of money Rhino's one option for them. Most girls gave great service, don't go by words but their attitude. If you want extras be clear what you want, but I always had the best experience not expecting anything going in.

What others have said and I vouch for this too is that you can get more for less on day shift, and if you’re lucky or not picky, slow days like Mon/Tue. Obviously the VIP is cheaper to start. But others have said some girls give everything for $200 and I can confirm that. In my full review I’ve been quoted $200 to $1000. $1000 was always newer girls who didn’t even seem worth it anyways (I only asked out of curiosity).
I literally went twice in one night with the $200 girl, she was that good. It was a slow Monday night so that might be a factor - she ignored me on Thu because the place was packed and her regulars were there so she went straight to them after stage. Another girl I had a great time with also ignored me for regulars - I don’t take any offense its their job but just an observation that how busy the day is completely flips the equation.
Obviously many girls are quoting high and willing to haggle down but the best ones never quoted high. Just my take good luck!

Great review, just want to mention that parking is free. I would not recommend the ice box, it's only semi private and time-wise you get a better deal with the regular $100 for 5 dance. I think songs are timed at 2.5 mins each so that's 12.5 songs per $100 which makes regular dances a better deal. But I've done ice box with ATF where I liked the girl enough and don't regret that. To compare, in COI clubs I could get full private rooms for $260/30 mins (Thursday rate), fully nude, or semi-private rooms like the ice box for $140. But the drive is too long.
RockAllNight to answer your question about topless or not this is a San Diego thing, not California. San Diego is technically no touch but nobody cares these days. So in short some girls allow boobs, some don't. If you go to COI 1 1/2 hours away it is fully nude and most girls do extras, just to give an example. It's just which city you go to. I will say the girls at Cheetah's generally have a good attitude, some girls are very attractive, and you don't feel pressured to get dances you can just watch stage if you don't see what you like.

Nix, it's not as good as it sounds. There's about 100 girls because most of them don't work regularly and some of them are day shift. Lots of girls work two clubs. But yes, I've personally seen 100 different girls at Cheetah's in a 3 month period. A few girls work 5 days a week - usually the good ones. But some I won't see for 2 months despite looking for them. That's where I had to start asking for their IG just to message the ones I wanted to meet again.
Part of it was covid, tiktok, and lots of turnover from the economy meaning some girls are just testing the waters and don't make a regular schedule. Funny thing is many girls I know will go to Vegas, Phoenix, Los Angeles, etc.. then come back saying the money in SD is better.
San Diego clubs suck. Of all the SD clubs which suck, Cheetah's is generally considered the best. And on the bright side, you can pay $10 entry ($20 first time then they give you a card for all future visits) and the etiquette is you pay $1 per stage show which is 2 songs. So you can watch girls full nude pretty cheap and not commit to anything unless you find the right girl.
The thing I like about Cheetah's is a lot of the girls have a good attitude, no rush, you can just talk with them. Some are newer so they'll spend a long time talking with customers or regulars rather than hustling. Because there's no alcohol to sell and the club is low on extras, all the money is on VIP dances which are just 5 for $100. Full bikini but hands on, so nowhere close to what you can get at SR COI. Whereas the girls at SR will hustle hard, make you feel like you're wasting their time (one girl literally considered 30 seconds of talking with her as too long), and are often hustling hard and fast (ex. some literally won't do lap dances, just VIP, and if you aren't getting one within a minute or two they're moving on).

This review is fairly accurate, it sounds like you prefer to talk with girls rather than get mileage with them in vip. This club is definitely not for talking to girls - there are much better clubs for that. I will say as far as girls it’s going to come down to your preferences, I like fit and petite girls so this club is perfect for me. In a lineup of 20 girls like you might have Thursday night I could find 2 girls that were perfect, maybe 5 or 6 that are close. Much better than most clubs. But someone else who likes thick girls or big boobs would be disappointed.
About lap dance mileage and connection you are right - I have never had a girl do poorly on lap dance but somehow become wonderful in vip. In fact even with the exact same girl on a different night she’ll be different. The only thing that counts is her attitude and performance, words and promises don’t tell you much. A girl who shows me she’s cool, on the floor or in a dance, is always good in the back. A girl who tells me is a liability for a bad time, you’re just gambling there. I might take a chance if a girl is exactly my type because at some point I’ll enjoy it if she’s what I want. But rarely.
The prices seem high but I find I get what I pay for as long as I know the rates and ignore girls who quote high tips. I mean I can go to TJ but honestly 95% of the girls there aren’t my type so I don’t get my money’s worth despite it being 1/3 to 1/4 the cost. SR is not the place to save money. But I had the best two experiences of my life in any club there. And two more great experiences I’ll also never forget.
I usually go Cheetah’s in San Diego where you can talk to about 100 different girls on their roster. Super cheap if you just want to talk. But every now and then I want the mileage from coi where you can do anything and some of the girls are crazy in the good way or nymphos. There are some girls who were very thirsty and I tipped them out of principle. One girl didn’t even tell me how much to tip her, she is just that horny.
But I am sure the majority of the girls aren’t worth it, I had to pass on most girls until I found what I liked and out of about 12 different girls I had 4 were fantastic. Trust the vibe and politely decline those you don’t feel good about.

Melanie is a gem, worth it. I had her twice same night.
Daytime is very different, you can take your time and it's a different atmosphere. Be sure to check the rollcall, it's generally accurate and if there are more girls than customers it tends to work in your favor. Mostly different girls work day though Melanie's been working day lately. And as others mentioned Thursday has the best deal for the 30 minute rhino room, Mon/Tue comes next. Synn is similar, their best deal is Thursday too.
At any club it's going to come down to which girls you like. If you don't see someone good, it's almost better to come back another time than to spend too much rolling the dice. I've always had a good experience when the girl had a good attitude and vibe. If there are red flags, it's usually not the last you'll see.

So knowing a few dancers some don't really know if they'll show up to work until midday, and the club can't know for sure when they'll show up. Like SR is 100% on top of having a real-time roll call updated every 5-10 minutes and accurate, but they still don't know who will really show up until they actually do.

Right, it's helpful to keep in touch with a regular. It's for business, whether to let you know if she's working. With two of my favorites they knew I was always going to get a dance so they straight up said let me know when you're coming in and I'll try to work that night. On most nights she sees me I'm at least half her money anyways. I've only done this with two girls, for all the others I don't want their number though there are some girls I'll simply ask if they're in that night.

Dancers will always turn on each other. On Reddit just yesterday and today there was drama on body shaming with AA girls calling out 'white girls with no bodies' getting all the customers and calling those customers pedos. Then today the reaction post calling those girls as jealous body shamers who think guys are weird for not liking fat women.
The other week and the week before that was drama on extras vs no extras. Lots of hostility in their "safe space" for dancers against dancers, plus pointing out that anything past the dance is an extra - kissing is an extra, any special request is an extra, etc.. I won't get into the blow by blow but it's worth a popcorn or two of reading.
In conclusion, strippers will never get along very long. At best they can form small groups of friends. Beyond that, they are literally competitors to each other.

You're correct it's 5 dances for $100. It's mostly different girls on different days, so if you liked the Monday girls in particular it's a good bet to repeat. Good to trust the vibe, even with a girl you already know they can have an off day. Whereas if I see she's in a good mood it's generally a good sign.
Not sure which bartender you saw but some like Trouble will go on stage and give VIP if you ask after stage. Sometimes it's girls just learning or getting the feel of it so it's not a guarantee she's skilled but if you like her enough it's an option.

Yeah to Slickwillie's comments it's a cheap club to hang out if just want to watch the stage, keeping to a low budget, it does attract quantity over quality. I was just there last night and at least people are tipping some of the stage girls more often than not. I've been trying other clubs in SoCal lately and I've seen worse. Things are slow almost everywhere in clubs, as slow as it's been in years.
But whatever, best way to enjoy a club is to ignore other customers. Do your thing, have fun. Been coming here 18 years and it's sill my favorite club in the city.

Here's the good thing, Synn is like 3 minutes away from SR COI. Anyone here can pop in Synn and if they like it, great. If not, they're out the cover and drink (forgot the exact total but felt like $17 for both). I personally was not impressed but I wouldn't tell anyone stay away, just keep your options open. It's less than the cost of 1 lap dance and how many of us haven't thrown away a $20 to find out a girl wasn't your thing. Not a big deal.

RiskA you make good points and I don't disagree. I didn't want make the review any longer by going into it, but I'm talking a lot of girls who just don't do 2 for 2 or lap dances and are 'VIP only'. I generally had great experiences but some girls quoted crazy prices or kept asking for tips after I already tipped them. One girl raised our agreed price after entering the VIP so I had to cancel that and do just the VIP. I had another girl I was planning to take to VIP tell me not to take up too much of her time on the floor (10 seconds after saying hi to her). These were exceptions so I that's why I simply said 'some girls were okay, rude' etc.. But a warning to new customers to find the gems by trusting their gut. Most girls gave a great vibe and I prefer to focus on that.
Of course like you said SR COI has a ton of better looking girls and we guys can forgive almost anything if there's that. I was pretty shocked at the offerings at Synn..
My home club is too different to compare, if you love SR COI you would hate it. It's more for talking to girls. The system is $10 cover for return customers, then $1 per stage. If you find the right girl, great. Or you can just meet a lot of new girls and take your time talking with each of them until you do. You can watch the stage, it's low pressure and zero upsell. It is the opposite vibe as far as hustle is concerned. Unlike the occasional problems I listed, I have had exactly zero bad experiences in 15 years. The girls are great, but it's really apples and oranges to compare.

I’ve tried many of the girls and did have one of them raise the price negotiated. So I declined. Girls will try things to see if they can get away with but they’re going to have a bad career with that move.
I will say I’ve known some dancers who never ask upfront, start doing that after some experience. Dancers are always trying different ways and it’s trial and error for them. So many complain nobody taught them anything, they had to figure it out themselves. So some girls have weird routines around extras and you never know what to expect.
It’s a red flag for them to ask for a tip just to start a dance but we could at least reason it’s for something special whatever. But that second time just shows they don’t understand their job. Show the customer a good time and get paid.

The good thing about SR is their website roll call is accurate and up-to-date, so around 7pm or 8pm you’ll see the day shift girls disappear and the night shift girls get added. So I knew a girl showed up before she even ig messaged me. When you pay cover you can see the sign in sheet for dancers and how long or short it is.
Thursday is the busiest day for SR due to their special pricing, and I’ve read the same about Synn just down the street. 10pm is the peak time both from experience and asking the bartender. Since girls choose their days and they have their own period/personal/mood that’s why it can be up and down and unpredictable.
Every girl both at the club and other clubs say summer is slow, things pick up around September. There is a mini recession and COI relies partly on business travelers.

I must have gone to Synn on a bad night because every dancer there was old, fat, or ugly. Every one. Age and weight are pretty objective so I think we just saw different girls. Having been to different clubs I know it’s a matter of luck and a different night will have a completely different set of girls, but not a good first impression.
At SR out of 15 girls on a Thursday I could always find 2 or 3 I liked. Only one that I didn’t find attractive and ‘old’.
Well, cover isn’t that expensive compared to what you’ll spend and the clubs are near each other. Everybody is free to see for themselves.

It's a common term but must be regional. Some clubs have it a lot, others won't allow it. You can tell how serious some clubs forbid extras because you can take a step to the side of the front desk and see the security camera feeds at work for every VIP room.
The clubs that encourage extras, have no cams. For example in COI they can look in the window if they have to, but nobody cares. The women walk around naked in the common areas after fucking once it's past midnight. Nobody cares, and you see all the people who just fucked walking out.
