Rhino - Is it a reasonable value for the money?
The LA area has a ton of options when it comes to strip clubs but I do not think most consider LA the city that has the best strip clubs in the country. 4 Play used to be my favorite club in LA but to me you really cannot have much fun without spending a lot of money (I consider $1000+ a large spend). I decided to go to Rhino in CIO because I had not been there since the pandemic and the quality used to be above average. I arrived shortly after 10pm and the place was empty. I have never understood why this club is consistently empty and I think it is probably because they do not serve alcohol. In the time I was there, maybe there were 10-15 customers. I know it is a completely different city, but what a contrast between SR in LV and this sister club in CIO.
The club has been repeatedly described by others. It looks like most of the other SR clubs. I think we have all been inside clubs that are really dark inside, but Rhino is super dark and they do that smoke thing so you cannot see across the club to see how empty it is. I do not get this unless you are really trying to hide the stretch marks and the dancer’s flaws. I think there were about 8-12 girls but I only found one that was appealing to me. I took her for some $20 topless dances. These dances are done in an even more dark area to the left of the dj booth. I thought it was odd that there were large tables in this dance area and those tables sort of space things out. My girl gave me some fairly good dances and allowed adequate touching for $20. I took advantage of the buy 2 dances and get 2 dances free promo. Those 4 dances were short and not too great. This girl was really not interested in doing dances all night and I could see it in her body language. She was much more focused on going to do VIP and repeatedly asked me. These rooms are in the back and the floor guy gave me a tour. $140 for 15 minutes behind a curtain and $220 for 20 minutes in a room with a door that closes. This girl made it known to me that everything was on her menu for $600, but I really was not interested and just wanted dances. I decided to take this girl and do the $140/15 min room to check it out. Her dancers were good but not worth $140. She nicely told me that she only gets $70 out of the $140, so she really was not interested in staying and doing dances back there (I have no idea if this is true). She made it clear that her customers do not go into the VIP with her for dances. After a little back and forth, we came to an agreement that was fair and reasonable. While I did not go in looking for anything extra, I have been there enough to know that Rhino is a place to get the extras. Once I agreed to pay for more than dances, this girl really changed and provided very good service.
I think the LA clubs are somewhat unique compared to clubs I normally visit. Some of these clubs like Rhino do not make money on alcohol sales, so they have to make money on their cover charge and taking a share of the money the girls receive. They have to be flexible and allow certain activities otherwise they would not survive. I do not think these clubs are a super bargain, but they are a relatively safe place to get the extras services that many men are looking for. From speaking with the girl that I was with, she explained that she has regular customers that come into see her and many schedule specific times to come in there. On a busy night she may not be available to a strange guy coming in because she has her customers lined up for the night. I do think it is nice that Rhino shows who is working each night with a link from their Instagram page so you know what girls are working. I did notice that other clubs in LA list names on their Instagram and web sites, but Rhino shows photos of who is working.
