As of today, guy beers at Hong Kong are $6
Booji, you're right. It really won't make any difference. It's just $1 more for a guys beer. No big deal. But what does make a difference to a lot of people is the consistent price increases on everything the last 18 months to 2 years. Also, the $30 wine is now $33.

HK knocks it out of the park once again. Fantastic experience!
@PutaTester - Yeah I've heard some girls have walked away if the customer says no to wine. I think I have too much pride to sit there watching a girl walk away from me. So I don't give them the opportunity to do that. I've never walked away where the girl didn't try to get me to come back. And I've never gone back. I wish other customers would do this. If you stay and accept to buy a beer, the girl still gets her drink and maybe paid in the room after the drink. In this case, she didn't really lose anything. But if customers would walk away, they might be hesitant to continue asking for wine. When I buy wine, they drink it, and I'm immediately asked by the waiter to buy another. Then another. After 15 minutes you've spent $90 on three drinks. This has happened to me. I'll never buy another wine.

$30 for win. Rip off. $10 for (your) beer? You got ripped off. $200 for the girl in the room? Huge rip off. She said she just started dancing and won't accept anything but $200. 95% of customers will tell her no. She'll soon realize she's not making money and she'll drop her price. The brand new girls often come to HK with high expectations. Once reality sets in they come back to Earth. I used to buy wine all the time. The wine is a rip off. Now if I'm asked for wine, I just stand up and walk away. I say nothing. And the girl will always say, okay, okay, I'll get a beer as I'm walking away. I keep walking. She gets nothing and then wishes had not asked for a wine. It's no loss to me. There are 100 other girls standing around hoping to earn money.

HK isn't what it used to be - looking elsewhere
I agree. The $30 wine really is a joke. And you're right about HK not being what it used to be. I personally don't care what the girls charge but when I'm buying drinks and the girl is asked to stop dancing for me, (because the club is wanting me to buy a lap dance which I'd never buy) I put my money back in my pocket and stop spending. After so many changes, I spend a lot more money at Chicago club than I used to.

    Sunday night smorgasbord :)
Yeah the wine is a rip off. I was there Sunday night also. I talked to two girls who had orientation that day. They came to HK together and had both been there for only 30 minutes just starting their first shift. I asked what they discussed with the girls in orientation. They told me they were told to ask for wine when sitting down with a customers. So the new girls are probably all asking for wine. It is a big rip off for the customers. They're no benefit to spending $30 for wine vs $10 for a beer.

    Day trip next month
    1. The line depends on what time you're crossing. 2. You can take a pre-filled out FMM if you want. It's actually slower to show it to them. Just show them your passport and they'll wave you by. That's the quickest way. 3. Yes, they'll just assume you were a HK customer. Nobody will ask anyway.

Mexico Phasing Out Use of Paper Visitor Permits (FMM)
I always have one printed in case they ask. I've crossed into TJ dozens of times the last few years. I was asked for it once. It totally depends on who is standing there and if that particular person is asking. But I've been asked once in three years.

    HK Going Downhill
I'm not the vet you are, Puta. But I agree. I've only been going for three years but just in the last three years, HK has changed so much. So many new rules that didn't exist three years ago. At least not that I was aware of back then. Prices have gone up, fun has come down. Far more strict, far more tame than it used to be.

    HK Going Downhill
There is zero chance I would have paid that fee. If the girls are dancing it's not our job to stop them. And the girls should know the rules. This dancing rule is so ridiculous and inconsistent. Sometimes I see girls grinding all over guys. Other times they barely sit on you and someone is telling them they can't do it. Had that dude really kicked you out, I can't imagine you couldn't talk to someone about it and get back in. Especially I'm the morning. That's a joke.

    First timer questions
You can reserve the room under any name or number you want as long as you don't use a credit card to pay for the room. Everyone is fine getting into Mexico. It's Mexico. Nobody cares. Assume you should be fine with a VISA getting back to the USA. The rooms are safe but your laptop probably won't fit in the safe. I don't even use the safe any more. Nobody will go in your room. If you want a girl to shower you can ask her to shower but honestly, most of them are super clean. Sometimes the girl will as if she can shower first. As far as time, every girl is different. Most girls don't time it but some do. How to not get hustled? Know prices. The only time Ive been hustled is when the waiters knew I did not know the price. I've been here dozens of times now so I know how it works. The first 2-3 times I went, I was lied to about drinks, rooms prices as Chicago club, ect.... I don't trust anyone in Zona. But if you don't act like a rookie it's unlikely you'll get hustled. If they know you are knew, it is likely. It doesn't happen as often as HK.

Planning a late summer trip. Some questions.
Buy a water. Hold it in your hand all night. If the meseros see you with no drink, you'll be constantly be asked if you want to buy a drink. It will be none stop. I buy a beer and walk around with it all night.

    HK still tops
Yeah I agree with @Jascoi. HK has added so many new rules. They seem to add rules that decrease the amount of fun while increasing prices. I was there three weeks ago and was told the girls are no longer allowed to dance on you while you buy them drinks. This rule is not always obeyed but every time I go the girls are asked to stop or they'll be fined $23. You can buy a (dance card) for $23. This will allow the girl to dance on you but you have take the girls to the Miami room to do it. I started laughing when the waiter told me this. Again, the girls don't always obey this rule but the fact that HK is trying make customers buy a card for $23 for this dancing privilege is ridiculous. HK is still a good time but due to all the rule changes I find myself spending more and more time at Chicago.

    Adelitas open? Same?
I just got back from TJ. It is closed. They have a guy that works at Adelitas sitting outside next to the door so the homeless don't sleep next to the entrance. I asked about trafficked or underage girls. Of course they are not going to admit any of that. They're telling everyone there was a small tax problem. But it is closed. In my opinion, Adelitas is not as fun as Chicago or HK anyway.

Main changes in the last year
@Bigfree- I didn’t say the girl will be fined if she doesn’t go to the private room. I only said the girls are required to get them on weekends. Because if that, they are typically less fun than they used to be when buying them drinks. Sometimes they’ll be stopped and told to get a private dance or calm it down. This was not always the case. As far as the girl accepting $80 for the room, I was only told by one girl who has worked there a long time that they can report a girl who accepts $80. This girl has no reason to lie to me about that because I always give her $200. I’m just reporting what I was told by a veteran that has no reason to lie to me. And the $30 wines. You’re 100% right. That’s on me.

I might have been tired but the club was not
Was the deposit $35? That's up $5 from what it's been. I ask because one time I made the mistake of paying with a $100 bill and everyone wanted part of it. I try to take the exact $$ amount for room and deposit. I'll tip the guy $2. But with a lot of $$ in change it didn't go over so well.

    First time need advice
HK doesn't offer anything from San Diego. The cheapest way is to take the trolley. It's $2.50 straight to the border and $2.50 back to the airport. About a 45 minute ride. A shuttle at the airport will take you to the trolley station. When you walk in Mexico there are tons of cabs that will take you to HK. About a 5 minute ride from the border.

    Hong Kong room rates
@sfrsox - They raised them $10 a night. Typically the cab ride is $7. Used to be $5. At night they'll usually say $8 or $10. But you can take the HK shuttle for free. Tip the guy. I don't drive so I don't park. Not sure on that.

Main changes in the last year
Just to clarify, a lot of the girls will still have fun with you. A while ago I'd walk in and everyone would be getting lap dances. There was no reason to pay for a private dance. For this reason, few people were buying private dances so HK is losing money. They've just tightened it up. I was there two weeks ago and a mesaro told a girl dancing on me she needed to get a private show or she would be fined. I had also bought her two $30 bottles of wine. There is still fun to be had. Just not as much fun. Chicago is awesome and drinks go a long way. Some of my buddies tell me the girls rarely ask them for wine. These bitches always ask me for it. And I don[t' mind buying as long as they're going to have fun with me while they're drinking.

@Greanbeans - Haha that’s a funny review. And yeah, I like to enjoy everyone’s babe at the table. Lol. Once they’re an ATF, hands off. And that L chick from CC club was sexy. I’m glad you pointed her out. Fun getting a full attention show at that back stage. She was a naughty girl. I love the naughty ones. Haha. She wanted to go to the room. I should have taken her. She would have been fun. I’ll have to look for next week. Good review.

    Cell Phone Discretion
I had Verizon a couple of years ago and mine did the same thing. I now use Tmobile and it gets far better reception than I got with Verizon. It's also free in Mexico, and there is no weird ring tone. It works exactly the same as in the states. My buddy uses Verizon and when we're both in Mexico and I call him, sometimes it rings forever before his VM comes on. Sometimes his phone doesn't ring when I call him. Sometimes he receives my texts an hour after I send them. I think every carrier is different but Tmobile it works exactly the same.
