What are they now?

How much is the current uber/cab fare from the border? Is it still safe to park your car on the US side (next/close to border)

@sfrsox - They raised them $10 a night. Typically the cab ride is $7. Used to be $5. At night they'll usually say $8 or $10. But you can take the HK shuttle for free. Tip the guy.
I don't drive so I don't park. Not sure on that.

If the room rates go up by $10 ? That's not even the cost of one fiche. Zona Norte is still the most economical place to bulk monger in North America. I just wish they would put the extra money into amenities for the hotel. The place is a dump

Agreed on both counts. For what you can get, it's still a bargain compared to anyplace else in North America. I also wish they'd put a restaurant in Cascadas that's inside the secure perimeter.

Agreed. I think it's still a pretty good deal, though, especially with the VIP card discount.......

There are plenty of decent hotels outside the Zona but admittedly they are not as convenient. They are nicer though and they are mostly pretty escort friendly. I see HK raising the price of everything until most hard core mongers go that route. It’s relatively legal and safe, more cost effective and hugely satisfying.

Speaking solely for myself here, I view my trips to the ZN as a hobby. If I start worrying about the cost of that hobby then that means one of two things: I do it less often, or I do something else. Complaining about it isn't a healthy or useful option for me.

if it wasn't for some pretty girls there I wouldn't be going there. I'm planning on being there this coming Monday through Wednesday night.

@623- Do you have any recommendations for Chica friendly hotels? Ticuan used to get pretty good reviews but, not so much recently.

Maybe it's because fanboys keep hyping the place up constantly online and people who run the club can read? Demand drives the market, and HK sounds like it's become the Ellis Island of Zona Norte for would be mongers. Warrior and 623 FTW.

Pueblo Amiga is good and I have also had company at the Hyatt. Generally a 5 to 10 dollar Uber ride and nice enough hotels. I have heard but not used the Marriott Fairfield.

This hobby is not for the faint of heart (or Wallet).
