@waffle. Hmm, it was long distance within the state ("middle distance" (?)). We could get together driving, but it took some effort and it got more difficult in time. It was fun and sexy for the first six months. That's my experience with distance relationships generally; the distance builds tension and release until it becomes too difficult.
If I try seeking again (probably will), then I would focus on local SBs (within the same metro area). Meet for coffee; test chemistry; discuss mutual objectives. I suppose that a long-distance SD could satisfy that formula, if he travels to your city frequently and you can easily meet for coffee. Keep it easy, my two cents.
I learned a lot if you want to message me with any questions. Although of course, my perspective is the inverse of yours (older guy/SD). Good luck if you pursue it!

@waffle, I met a SB on there who was legit; very interested in financially-secure older men, and we landed on a fun and reasonable long-term arrangement. She was long distance and we went strong for several months, but it has sputtered recently.
I went back and forth with another SB who was seemed legit, and she was gorgeous, but my schedule didn't work with hers.
It took several weeks to filter out the bogus profiles. I probably got 60 messages from women that might have been real. And filtered down to three seemingly legit SBs. And one worked out, as I mentioned. But she was very into sexy older men (by her definition), and so that was purely serendipitous for me.

I went to a Denver club tonight (Thanksgiving eve). Will post a review later. The club was very quiet, maybe 6-8 dancers and 10 customers. But the dancers were all very attractive, so it ended up being a fun night for me.
I went in thinking that I might pay the cover, buy a drink and bug out if it was too crowded or crazy. Not the case.
Besides Thanksgiving, we've had like two feet of snow in the past few days. So conditions are not ideal for shlepping around to SCs or otherwise.

Yes, hammering the table on Platinum vs Shotguns:
"Shotguns had overall more girls and younger girls that were quite attractive"
"the physical layout at Shotguns is more compressed; so you get a better view of more stages ... Platinum is a long and skinny rectangle ... Not an ideal layout, but it was okay."
"Shotguns had the hotter dancers and could be a better choice if you purely want the eye candy."
If that is "promotion," then Platinum needs a way better "promoter."

They both seem like good options, but very different IMO. Go read my review of Shotguns.
I realize that I didn't mention, there was somewhat more diversity in the dancers at Platinum. A couple AA girls in the rotation.
