I used to stop by fairly often on afternoons, but COVID killed off the dayside shift. I lost maybe my all time favorite dancer as a result. It was great for what it was... a place for cheap beers and fair mix of newbie and longtime dancers.

UPDATE: I made a return visit on a Sunday afternoon (St Patty's, in fact), and the vibe was completely different than the Friday afternoon visit in my review above. The girls were slightly more attractive overall (maybe an extra half point on average), and there were significantly more patrons on hand. After going back with three different dancers and briefly interacting with a few more by the bar, everything seemed to be above the board. This leaves me to speculate that things generally operate differently during the week, but I'd need to do more research.

I was definitely distracted during both sets of dances.

We weren't there super long, maybe 90 minutes or so, but I don't recall the 2-for-$40 going down. We had good luck sitting at the far end of the bar, which had the benefit of providing a little shelter from dancers we weren't interested in.

I'm pretty sure Scarlett's (and Country Rock and Diamond) are all owned by the parent company of Rick's Cabaret after a series of sales over the past six years. The results have been predictable.

Man, I remember visiting buddies in town circa 2011, and Hollywood was packed and stacked. What a shame how the mighty have fallen.

Let me add one point of clarification in response to the adjudicator comments: a large part of my written assessment hinges on expectations going in versus feelings walking out the door. The exterior of the building looks *bad*, but I had a surprisingly *good* time. This is reflected in my numerical ratings, which are not shown to the adjudicators for whatever reason.

They never tell you what you need to know.
Did any of the Michigan fans here even watch that near-catastrophe against Illinois last week? The Big Ten is kinda trash, and that's coming from an Illini.

Shit, you're right that I got that detail wrong. This is why I need to write up my reviews within a couple days of visiting instead of weeks. All the ass you can grab, but "no titty, no kitty." Thanks for the catch!

Stumbling upon this review months late, but points for a not-dated-to-me reference in your review's title.

@Techman: yes, they get nude on stage, and you'll get to put your hands on the goods for a few bucks. VIP is an option, but I can't recall the price.

I'm pretty sure that 15 or 20 bucks is simply the house's cut that has always been taken out at the door before heading to the booths.

Good to hear that the renovation construction is over, and all the other details sound about right as well.

Thanks so much for your review. I was debating whether to swing by after attending Exxotica myself, and I think I made the right decision for me. Glad to hear you had a good time!

Budweiser, preferably two in the first hour and about one each hour thereafter. Jack and coke up front if pressed for time. Not the most imaginative drinks, but they're universal.

After reading the article, watching the video, and reading the discussion here, I have a few thoughts/questions:
1. Y'all are really throwing around the phrase "exposing [themselves]" as though there is some kind of sinister intent. We're just talking about a transgendered individual getting dressed in a locker room.
2. Similarly, what's with all this hypothetical outrage over "young girls" when the video is just a Karen going off in a room full of adults?
3. There's a (not actually) surprising dearth of documented cases of hetero men posing as transgendered women for all the huffing and puffing that you hear about the possibility of it happening. I guess actual cisgender men don't like to pretend to be women?
4. What are the Karens' demands in regards to gay men using the men's locker room, leering at young boys? And gay women using the women's locker room?

After a 50 buck cover, the $6.50 domestic sounds like a bargain.

I also wanted to mention that I timed average song length to be a hair over 3 minutes.

Are you talking about Larry's in Washington Park? I can't find anything published online documenting this. This is highly relevant to my interests, and any additional info you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

^^^^gammanu, you're seemingly unaware of how few children have been eligible for the vaccine to date, or how hard it is to find reliable childcare.
^^^muddy, I don't think anyone's going to be scratching their heads over a gap in the resume after a once-in-a-century pandemic.

A fellow brunette fan myself, my current faves are Gianna Dior and Emily Willis. Eliza Ibarra is close.
For curvier fare, I'd go with Blake Blossom, Melody Marks, and Skylar Vox.

Here's the real kick in the nuts: the Fed has announced they're gonna buy corporate bonds directly. We don't get to know the companies, so I'm sure this is on the up-and-up. And once those companies shit the bed, that's gonna translate into ownership since creditors pick the bones in bankruptcy proceedings.

Direct checks can't work. Investment in underserved communities seems like a better bet. That investment could be multifaceted: daycare for children and infrastructure that requires local manpower. The daycare serves educational and parental work purposes, while the infrastructure provides jobs and better surroundings.

*Rates dancers as 10s"

Why can't we see ratings during review evaluation? This makes no sense to me.
