Tuesday afternoons at Polekatz remain consistently good
Over the winter and through spring, I entered a kind of strip club hibernation, with very few visits, and fewer worth reviewing. Armored with a COVID vaccine and flush with unspent strip club cash, I made a Tuesday afternoon visit to Popekatz in Bridgeview.
Upon arrival, I left my car at the valet, where a placard informed me of a $5 fee. Curiously, the money was not demanded when I left my key, nor when they retrieved my car later that afternoon. I gave the attendants a couple bucks, so maybe that's all they really cared about.
The layout of the club has been the same for years, with a long stage featuring two poles in the center of a large room (maybe about 70 ft by 70 ft), and a long island bar is placed near the back of the main room. The seats around the bar have returned since my last visit, and there were no masking requirements inside the club. A Jack and Coke cost $10, while the Budweiser bottles I switched to cost $5 each (which seemed slightly cheaper than in past visits).
