I was in IT in the military. Then a business degree at a state university, w an extra history minor, bc it’s my favorite. I did use my degree in civi work, but not for the corporate world, which was my education focus.

@ Taxi. I’m sorry. I misunderstood when I gave you that advice. I thought the first girl was still a favorite, but that you were intruiged w the new girl. Guys put a lot into darling relationships w their favorite girls. I just didn’t want you to burn bridges w a girl you still liked, for a possibly short term new girl. If you don’t like a girl anymore, there’s no reason keep giving her money. A tip on stage when no one else tips is chivalrous of an ex regular, but there’s no need, and no need to get dances.

@ SLD, a few times. Not for long tho. I’ll sit longer w a less likely prospect when it’s slower.

I think they should work it into their price beforehand, rather than calling it a “tip,” if they want to charge above the House rate. Some girls think it sounds better to present things that way, but it just sounds entitled and bratty. If they don’t tell you until after the dances, I wouldn’t pay above the house rate.

Race is a purely cultural construct, so saying what country you think a person’s ancestors are from is ab the same thing. There was a time when “Italian,” was a race in this country. Ppl had it on their DL. Now, Italian is considered to be a type of Caucasian, but it wasn’t before. I’ve read that Japanese and Chinese will be considered to be types of Caucasian by 2050.

Are you fucking serious?? Bc I don’t like sitting around, and expect to make what I make actually working, I’m a ho? And even if I was a raging whore, so the fuck what?? Plus, if the guy just wanted one hour, I wouldn’t do other dances, or expect a drink. The ones who pay by the hour, want several hours.

@ SLD, that’s not what I expect “at a minimum” from everyone. That’s what I expect for JUST sitting, and them not buying dances or a vip. It’s based on a low end average of what I make. My “any drink I want,” is one or two glasses of wine for the entire day, at under 10.00 each. Other customer tend to offer to buy a drink, but if I’m committed to sitting, then I can’t accept one from someone else, but I’d need to sit w them and drink it. I will do a dance here and there for regulars, and when ask while I’m on stage, but some guys ask me to stay off the stage, and I will. I don’t prefer to sit, but plenty of girls do. I’d rather be doing dances and making money faster.

It’s funny bc I often think that some of the girls I work with would really do well in the military. I think them having kids is usually as issue. They have to leave them often, and have someone to leave them with.

I’ve mentioned it, but I guess I don’t meet a lot of dancers who are vets. Tho I know a few girls who did it for a period after being in the service. I’ve even met a couple guys.

“Competitions”

I agree. My grandmother used to watch the completions leading up to the Olympics, for figure skating. I wish Olympic type sports were televised and had commentators, all of the time. I’d keep tv that way.

I tend to avoid being the one to actually open the door, bc commercial doors are hard for me to open, but I still take a person’s place so they can go w their group.

I was in the military. If you were in a big informal group, and were the one on the door side, you’d take your turn to hold it for a few moments, no matter who was waking in.
