FUCK IT!
Biden won the Democratic nomination due to a huge surge of support from black voters on Super Tues. He owes his nomination to black voters.
It was a pragmatic choice, knowing that the best way to beat an orange, 74-yr-old bigot, was to nominate another white, Christian, septuagenarian. There were, in fact, more qualified black candidates like Booker (a Rhodes scholar) and Kamala Harris -- but black voters did the smart, pragmatic, thing in helping to nominate Biden. And it looks like it's playing out as expected with Trump getting crushed in the polls.
My guess is that blacks could sense the rise in white nationalism and, for southern blacks, it brought back memories of Jim Crow, segregation, and lynchings. They wanted Trump out, first and foremost. Biden's no racist; he's just losing it, mentally.

@Warrior- I haven't smoked weed since middle-school -- but even wildly stoned as an 8th grader I could at least read a fucking graph, baldy. ;) ;)
Family law is one of those professions where getting stoned is probably a necessity to keep from going insane.

Cryptic post and I didn't know what the fuck he was talking about either. Not that I care. We all live in fear that infant @GammaNu will throw another temper tantrum for failing to read his mind. Tens of millions of Republicans were of the opinion that the purpose of the impeachment was to undo the election -- so that was the obvious guess.
Maybe he's assuming some IRS bureaucrat leaked Trump's taxes to the NYT to subvert the election? We don't know who leaked Trump's taxes, and it could someone hired by Trump. Could be one of his accountants.

Biden's incremental change would allow people to buy into Medicare, only if they want to.

For those of you wondering, @Meathead copied the passage verbatim from Rense.com
https://rense.com/general96/for-socialists-who-cant-stand-trump.php
Here's the media bias report for Rense.com:
"Overall, we rate Rense an extreme right-wing Conspiracy and quackery level Pseudoscience website based on frequently publishing unsubstantiated claims. We also rate them Very Low for factual reporting due to numerous failed fact checks, the use of very poor sources, and 3rd party labeling as a hate group."
Pretty much what you would expect from the @OP. Gibberish.

No kids, period. I don't like the feeling that mommy is selling herself and depending on my money to feed and clothe her kid(s). I find that depressing; to each his own.

Just an awful debate with two septuagenarians flinging shit at each other with another septuagenarian letting things get out of hand. It was the Jerry Springer show, only more of a toxic cesspool. As I predicted above, Trump spewed a torrent of bullshit and kept the fact-checkers busy in the media.
Embarrassing, and we must look like fools overseas. Even before the "debate" Pew Research did some polling across the globe ranking confidence in world leaders:
"U.S. Image Plummets Internationally as Most Say Country Has Handled Coronavirus Badly
Ratings for Trump remain poor"
https://www.pewresearch.org/global/2020/09/15/us-image-plummets-internationally-as-most-say-country-has-handled-coronavirus-badly/
If you scroll down to the chart labeled "Confidence in World Leaders," Trump ranks dead last *behind* Putin and Xi, with Merkel in first place.
Biden wasn't that great either, although I suspect it was good enough to sustain his lead in the polls. In particular, Biden botched the opportunity to explain the SC case scheduled for Nov 10 to strike down Obamacare. He babbled incoherently and missed a golden opportunity. Any of the other Democratic candidates could have done a better job.

You'll have to find a new target, @GammaNu. I think @25's had it. He's a much nicer human being than I am and he added some sanity to the board. You also helped chase @Nina away, as a regular, by calling her a welfare queen with 14 kids and making reference to blackface. YOu called both of them "porch monkeys."
You're an obnoxious bigot, @GammaNu.

Dealing with the constant stream of bullshit will be Biden's main task. Here's an article from a psychiatrist on how to handle the situation. What's interesting is that trying to correct the lies is the wrong tactic; mocking Trump with humor and sarcasm is the best approach.
"How to Debate Someone Who Lies"
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/09/25/opinion/debate-trump-biden-lie.html
"As a psychiatrist, I’d like to offer Mr. Biden some advice: Don’t waste your time fact-checking the president. If you attempt to counter every falsehood or distortion that Mr. Trump serves up, you will cede control of the debate. And, by trying to correct him, you will paradoxically strengthen the misinformation rather than undermine it. (Research shows that trying to correct a falsehood with truth can backfire by reinforcing the original lie.)"

I swear to God this article appeared after my post above:
"Some covid-19 rule-breakers could be narcissists, experts say. Here’s how to approach them."
https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/wellness/narcissism-mask-covid-psychology/2020/09/25/d3de1b32-fe9c-11ea-9ceb-061d646d9c67_story.html
According to psychologists, that mind-set is commonly observed in narcissists, who characteristically lack empathy, have high levels of entitlement and grandiosity, and chronically seek validation, admiration and control. Together with Machiavellianism and psychopathy, narcissism makes up one-third of the “Dark Triad,” personality patterns often linked to “a lack of niceness,” said W. Keith Campbell, a psychology professor at the University of Georgia.
“If you’re narcissistic, you’re going to do what you want,” said Campbell, the author of the upcoming book “The New Science of Narcissism.” “If what you want isn’t the same as what the guidelines are, you’re not going to do the guidelines.”

The fact that Donald Trump is a fraud doesn't surprise anyone who can think and read. What *is* a surprise is that the NY Times was able to get hold of his taxes. A complete surprise to me. The price of subscriptions to NY Times, WSJ, WaPo combined is less expensive than a cable subscription all three kick ass. If we can preserve our democracy it will be because of our media.

"As the president wages a re-election campaign that polls say he is in danger of losing, his finances are under stress, beset by losses and hundreds of millions of dollars in debt coming due that he has personally guaranteed. Also hanging over him is a decade-long audit battle with the Internal Revenue Service over the legitimacy of a $72.9 million tax refund that he claimed, and received, after declaring huge losses. An adverse ruling could cost him more than $100 million.
The tax returns that Mr. Trump has long fought to keep private tell a story fundamentally different from the one he has sold to the American public. His reports to the I.R.S. portray a businessman who takes in hundreds of millions of dollars a year yet racks up chronic losses that he aggressively employs to avoid paying taxes. Now, with his financial challenges mounting, the records show that he depends more and more on making money from businesses that put him in potential and often direct conflict of interest with his job as president."
