Good question and very good replies. Lots of truisms and insight here. My take on the whole issue is probably going to be about as messed up as anybody is ever going to read. I doubt that "Pole Dancer" would respond but let me put the shoe on the other foot and ask her "would she ever date and consider a relationship with a male dancer?" Women and female dancers as a whole are horrifically threatened by guys who do this. It directly challenges the female desire to want to be front and center all the time. It is in their feminine psyche to want to be noticed and beautiful in order to attract most suitable male. They want the basic needs of a female to be filled and financial security is huge with them. I was very unique in that I have high paying job but also dance for the fun. Is it narcissism on my part? Hell yeah! Once the female dancers find out what I did for a real living though, then all of sudden the threat dynamic changes. This is their "security" activation system going in full mode. They go into a tizzy trying to reconcile it all=LOL! Some female dancers I saw fought through the threat factor and for awhile just went along with it. Intimacy sets in with them usually much quicker than with men and soon enough they would try and convince me to stop. Had I continued to have a relationship with them whereby they knew there would be a commitment then I am sure they would have stopped dancing and me as well. If they wanted to continue to dance then I would have as well. No double standards with me. Narcissism matches narcissism. Women are so damned cute though. At one club I worked at the male dancers had an area at back of bar and the females at the front. The manager tried to be strict about interaction during working hours between male and female dancers. The female dancers prided themselves on saying "oh I would never go back there and gawk" and whatnot yet they would always wander back there. I always found this funny. They want to look but their feminine psyche gets in the way.

Cheating numbers are way higher than anybody would ever imagine. I hate to sound negative but it most likely is happening right under a lot of unsuspecting guys and gals noses. My ex cheated on me front the outset of our marriage and there were times when I was getting suspicious but she always was excellent at deflecting or misdirecting everything back on me. She was really great at it. I fell for her BS for 13 years. She finally found a really rich guy and filed for divorce and cleaned me out.

I certainly cannot fault you "John" for your thinking=LOL! I recall a lot of younger couples coming in there and the guy not being comfortable at all being there. In retrospect, I could not blame him at all. They would pitch a fuss until they would leave. No equality for his baby cakes in the Quarter=LOL! My best obvious guess is that her man had taken her into some to the all female joints and now she wanted some of her own action. Obviously, the dude having to watch semi nude dudes dance probably didn't spice up their love life much=LOL! The older couples were far more comfortable as perhaps, their best love making days had long since left them behind. We got a lot of couples whom I would peg as bona fide swingers and they were awesome clients. Swinging is big big business. Obviously, more than a few voyeurs would wander in there. Asian tourists were also big on that place. They would just sit in stony silence but they could be tight with money as you can well imagine. The very best clients though were Europeans. Especially Germans. Its no holds barred over there. The more debauchery the better for them. They would always remark that "our strip joints are nothing compared to the stuff that goes on in places like Hamburg." German males also, seemingly not threatened at all at seeing male nudity. Guy/Girl acts are common over there so I suppose they were just used to it. Of course many reading this would assume they were gay but this was not what I observed at all.

Yes, "Bvino" it was a lot of fun. A lot of after show partying with the girls. Like any work establishment you became family after a while. One of the girls recruited me one night when I wandered in there with a group of friends. It was a bachelor party weekend and of course we were feeling no pain early on. The party sort of broke up and everyone went their separate ways but I stayed at that club when I met the girl. I was so loaded that I only had sketchy memories of the actual love dances. What I do recall was that they were interesting and this girl whom I met was very pretty. She didn't need to do much convincing. She seemed sort of astonished though when I showed up the next night. It was almost like an outer body experience when I first performed with her. It was scary as hell. Much more so than I first thought it would be.

I had not considered that (streaming porn) James. That is an extremely good point. I actually enjoyed doing the love dances much more than standard solo numbers at another club I danced at. The better looking the girl I performed with the more tips came our way. Believe it or not the place had trouble recruiting/retaining guys to perform. Guys were scared to get up there with a girl much less alone. As I mentioned in article, "a lot of the patrons had seen shows similar to these at other places." It could be physically intense lifting the girls all the time and I got worn out by end of shift.

Just a little "FYI" guys. Every single Asian girl that I have ever seen working in a gentlemen's club in Dayton Ohio is 100% gay as hell. Trust me on that one. On top of this all of them are 100% assholes. They are about as cocky an SOB as I have ever seen. It is a shame really! I've never seen such outright gay arrogance before in my life. Not surprisingly, many of them disappear and also, most of the other girls hate them.

Don't forget the most important lesson China and this is to take any thoughts about being gay right out the front door of the club. Lesbos don't sell tickets to the dance so don't mention it and sure as hell don't make eyes with your girlfriend when a guy pays you to sit down with him. I don't care about your sexual preferences outside of the club but don't bring it in to the club if you ever want me to tip.

Some good stuff here but for the most part everyone is missing the point these days. At least for me they are. The main problem for me these days when I go to a strip club is all the damned lesbos that are working. They are taking over all the gentlemen's clubs and I could care less about their sexual orientation but if they are going to work at a gentlemen's clubs then they should know that when they are making google eyes at their girlfriends when I've just bought them an expensive drink and tipped them to sit down and shoot the bull with me then they can expect me to immediately leave that club. Any manager seeing this activity should kick that girl to the curb. They are supposed to be selling fantasies, intimacy, conversation, etc to clients. They are not there for self gratification for their lesbo girlfriends whom also work there. It has gotten horribly bad in Dayton Ohio and I have been going to the clubs less and less frequently. Forget any real dancing. There isn't any. They don't even feel the need to. We have an all nude place that has some really beautiful girls working there. I say "working" as hardly any of them can actually dance. Nearly all of them are gay and they snicker and sneer when these young stupid punks come in there and give them their entire paycheck. My girlfriend's son regularly goes there and he loves it. I told him "you cannot be much of a man at all if you think all that gay crap is actually a turn on". "You aint gonna get invited in son so why pander to it". He has since re-thought patronizing that BS! Don't cater to that type of narcissism guys! There is too much of that among white females today outside of the clubs. I pay girls to dance and dance seductively. I pay girls to sit down with me and discuss intimacy and sex and everything else I might be inhibited by. I don't pay girls to look at other girls.

The real problem, at least for me is that the gentlemen's clubs have way WAY too many lesbians working at them. I had been going to clubs in Indy and Dayton for a while and the problem is getting way out of hand. Just this past Tuesday I decided to give PTs a try in Indy and a smoking hot girl sits down with me to chat and the next thing I notice is her making google eyes at her girlfriend on stage. There just went that fantasy right out the damned window. I am so sick and tired of this. The stupid young punks these days cater to it and somehow view watching it as an indication of their manhood or some BS like that. The lesbos are only too happy to take all their money and then privately snicker at the stupidity of these fools. American women, especially white females, are falling deeper and deeper into an abyss of dark narcissism. At some of the clubs in Dayton, the girls don't even dance at all until club is full. Forget any quality dancing let alone a good pole dancer. You cannot even find a decent pole dancer in any of the clubs around where I live. Hate to sound off like some sociologist but this is indicative of a nasty trend I see everywhere these days. Girls have become so stuck on themselves that it is now chic or a fad, to call themselves "bi or bicurious or gay". "A girl just knows what I want" they say. The day a girl does a better job on a girl than me is the day a lead bullet goes through my head. I have been staying away from the clubs more and more these past 10 years or so. When I do go its usually because a friend wants to go but I am all to frequently disappointed.

My girlfriend's son and his girlfriend regularly go to a club in Dayton Ohio whereby the place has become a singles, pickup bar for the under 30 crowd. There really are no meeting establishments nearby and so they gather there. Most of the female entertainers are gay. In fact, I have noticed this trend increasing in copious amounts over the past 10 years or so. I have my definite theories about why this is. The under 30 crowd seem to love it and seem to love the girl on girl stripper interaction. Exotic dancers need to sell a fantasy to their customers. A guy getting in the middle of adamantly gay/lesbian dancers is a fantasy that guy is never going to experience so not sure why he would tip stuff like this or allow himself to be bilked out of good money to pay for a private dance from one of these girls? Clients are paying for the fantasy and as a guy if I know for sure the girl is gay then I am gone as a client.
