It sounds like in Sri Lanka there is come chaos, and maybe in some of these other places too. But these are not caused by progressive attempt to protect the environment and reduce use of carbon fuels. The strife is caused because of reactionary elements in government and industry.

About Roe, there was a declaration issued by the 7 justices at the center of the court, and this included O'Connor, saying that Roe was "settled law". This meant that it was like Brown v Board, and that it would be highly unlikely that it would ever be changed. So Harris is correct, and what she is saying is what people were being taught in our finest law schools.

ChampPhilly, as you can see it is hard here to have a reasonable conversation without getting trampled by trolls.
You know that the concept of "Extras" does not really resonate for me. As I see it, it makes no sense. There is no real extra line which is being crossed.
Originally strip clubs were no touching. But now in many places they are not. Once you allow touching and privacy, then it is really hard to enforce any limits. And I am perfectly happy with that. In Asian Massage Parlors HJ is the norm, but in many places they do a lot of FS, and I happily partake of that.
So Champ, in a number of US clubs FS is common.
Why do you want to restrict them? Why do you want to tell consenting adults what they can and cannot do? And are you prepared to put people in jail if they don't stay within your limits?
And Icey, the Private Party Model gets you around the Public Sex and Lewd Conduct Law, which applies in all retail businesses. This model of legal compliance is the one pioneered by Swingers Clubs, as for them groping and public sex are very important.
The Private Party does not get you around the criminal law, and so it does not get you around the Prostitution and Solicitation Laws. But the Prostitution Law is pretty much impossible to enforce. And there is no reason to Solicit.
As for psychiatric meds, those should not exist. The people who make and distribute them all hold government issues licenses. And this is what makes it fall squarely within Nuremburg precedents for Crimes Against Humanity. These parties should be prosecuted in International Court and they should receive the death penalty.

They don't bring cases without evidence. And that is why we had this Loitering with Intent Law, so people could be arrested without evidence. But not it is gone!!!
The prostitution law is written so it applies equally to both sides. And so does the the soliciting law.
But there is no reason to solicit, and the prostitution law is just about impossible to enforce.
People can have safe access to social workers and police if that is what they really want. BUt for most sex workers that is the last thing they want.

This place continues to draw a lion's share of the reviews.
Though most of them don't quite say this, there are still things to suggest it.

Well many times those cameras are fakes, or the video feed is never looked at. They're just for plausible deniability in case of liability law suits.
You will find the full gamut from highly regulated to not regulated at all.
The reason MBOT is now closed is that in the 90's DeJa Vu took over. They make more money by closing clubs and getting the buildings demolished than they do in keeping them open. They know that because of new zoning laws no one can open any more clubs.
But we can beat them by changing to the Private Party / Membership Club Model.
At MBOT there was lots of DFKing, FIV, some FIA, and BJ in the front room!

When LapDancing started it was at MBOT in San Francisco, and it was all out in the open. No booths or back rooms. And a lot of what happened would be called "extras".
Jim and Artie prohibited FS, and they fired the girls found violating. BUt not much else was prohibited.
That it was all out in the open would prove central to their legal defense, saying that it was not really for sexual gratification, but more sex education and shock value, an audience participation cabaret show.
It was after Jim and Artie prevailed at trial and all the legal risk eliminated that the Big Brave Soldiers of the Mafia came in and set up booths and back rooms. And then they were followed by Deja Vu, trying to eliminate front room contact and inventing the modern clip joint.
And no one likes those Nevada places. THe problem is that Nevada laws prevent from room physicality. So you can't soften a girl up before taking her to the private room.

With a misdemeanor, which is what prostitution is, real arrest or citation arrest, you are entitled to a public defender.
You don't have to pay any court fees in a criminal trial.
And totally bogus cases get dismissed, and cops know not to make false arrests.
Consorting with someone who has a criminal record is not a crime, even with a woman with a prostitution record.
