Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life
It's (nearly) a given that T levels decline with age. Next time you take a physical, ask the doctor to check your T levels (blood test). If you have a compounding pharmacist in your town, you can fill the prescription for far less $$ than the name brand T gels. Have used it for several years, haven't noticed negative side effects. Add a little pep in your step.

I always carry a handkerchief in my pants pocket. Easy to remember and the dancers appreciate it.

I worked with a Chinese Malay guy once. He used an English name for work purposes (Sam) but, like most Malays, had a Chinese name. He told me his given name was Fook Yew, which I found hard to believe. He pulled out his license from KL, and there it was.

Never put myself in a position where I have to use the SC ATM.
Cash exchanges only with the establishment. Never a cc.
Always go with a preset limit on spending. Walk out when it's reached.
Pass on the "massage" dancers. They never deliver the high quality dances.
Two dance audition. Beware of the play where she really ups the interaction with 10 seconds left in the song to entice you into another dance.
Phone powered off prior to entering the club parking lot. Leave it in the car. The NSA doesn't need to know I'm at the ballet.

I've been to my share of SC's over the past 30 years. Here's some observations, some of which are repeats.
Recessions are good for the talent. When hiring in the economy is lackluster, more talent looks for income from this line of work. We've been in a quasi recession now since 2008, and the talent in clubs is quite good.
Alternative services are available like never before. Where I live, there are massage parlors all over town. The internet and various sites like craig's list have eliminated almost all barriers to entry for a girl who wants to be involved in the trade.
Most clubs are not good value for money. Club owner margins on dancer revenues are too high in many places. This impacts the dancers and the customers negatively. Econ 101: falling demand and increasing prices is the definition of a dying industry.
Innovation, upgrading facilities (so many SC's are dumps), focus on customers and value based pricing.

In the VIP getting an Oral Exam
Perhaps the BP ladies are migrating over to the clubs. That could be trouble for the ol' HL.

I'm curious about the ID scanning. What time of the afternoon do you visit?

Good update, CP. Based on my past few visits, the situation at the HL seems to have stabilized somewhat. It helps to have a history here to figure out who can be trusted to provide quality dances. Nice to see Bfly's return, albeit on a more limited basis.

HL drink service is mediocre on its best day.
Certain bouncers seem to be over the top about watching for contact on the floor. Several dancers have told me that if they touch their own boobs they will be reprimanded. Apparently, that is considered to be "soliciting." The new normal at HL.

The current honeypot of grant money from the Feds to the local LEAs is granting funds for "human trafficking." The assumption is that women involved in the "sex trades," including strippers, must be victims of trafficking and are working against their will.
Reason.com does an excellent job exposing this practice as another unwarranted police overreach.

The club is in the cross hairs, obviously. Probably for several reasons. But ask yourself, "Why wouldn't someone on the PD monitor conversations on this site?" It's easy and a number of posters offer too many details of their good fortune in the club.

This club has been around for 30+ years. It has changed names and management numerous times. One thing has been consistent throughout: the club but has never been worth going to. Keep hoping someone will take this place over and make it a solid alternative to HL/ BSC/ CCT/ Bandaids.

I walked into the HL on Sunday around noon. Saw one of my regular dancers standing in the back. The place was 60% full with this tour group, both male and female. The dancer, S****, told me they all came with a free lunch coupon. There were only 5 or 6 dancers on the floor. I stayed 20 mins and then bolted.

This is another reason to vote neanderthal Bill Montgomery out of office. I'm hearing that the AG is driving the crack down.

Very hot chick and best set of implants I have ever seen. Once told me she was a "sex addict" during a LD, then split to hang with one of her regulars. She's hot, but a head case.

Seems odd that someone who is familiar with the HL and can assess that things are "back to normal" hasn't met butterfly.

I can completely second H5N1 on his observations. The Hi Liter is my local, go to club in town. Almost exclusively, I go in the afternoons and always have a great time for which the HL is well known. I have also stopped in on a couple of weekend nights and had the same experience as this reviewer. Not enough dancers, with several girls sitting at tables the entire night having a private party with friends. They'll report if called on stage but make no effort to mingle. Almost like there were two or three private parties in the club and you weren't invited. Makes for a quick visit.
