Yeah but easy enough for the trolls to write a review and come here too. Here's hoping that doesn't happen

In the short term, at least, the change has been good. We'll see how it goes. Nicole is already back and posting vapid post after vapid post, and guys are for some unexplainable reason responding to everything she says. Is that a sign all the trolls will be filling up the front room again? I dunno, maybe.

^^^ Yes. That works on very many of us. One of the more interesting conversations on StripperWeb, some of the girls explaining which hustle they used on which type of guy. I don't remember where I found that discussion, and it was years ago, but I thought one of them nailed the "guy who desperately wants to think he and the stripper are 'insiders' together and they're both a little too cool for this place". They use the gossip hustle on them.

Agree with the general sentiment: there's just no way to know, and it may well be a contradictory mix of all of the above -- hey, it's strippers :) To give an alternative perspective though, when I was a "baby PL" (lol), at the club I went to, there was a known guy who always asked for something kinky. I don't remember what it was he asked for, but as a baby PL it was shocking to me -- he wanted the girls to spit in his mouth or lick their toes or something. A few times I went in, and the girl I was with pointed him out, and there was clearly some mockery and disdain in her voice; we laughed about it together. This happened with a few different strippers. Then, one day it hit me -- most of the strippers might mock him or be disgusted by him, but he's still coming back day after day. Why? Because, dummy, he always finds at least one taker, and that's all he cares about -- he cares about getting the experience he wants, not what the other strippers think about him. This was actually one of my early epiphanies (I can actually tell you the club and girl I was sitting with when I had it, way back in 1994). And, actually, is what led to me to say fuck it, and ask my then-CF to do something I'd always wanted to do, but was terrified would disgust all the girls: could I spank her? She gave me a big smile and "of course! I love it!", and that sent me down my road towards focusing more on the experience I want, rather than caring what strippers who aren't interested think of me, or other PLs for that matter. Anyway, that rowdy drunk guy at the bar may be a dick, but he managed to find a stripper and seems to be having a good time. Interdasting!

-->"Some will say they only do instagram or snapchat, but those are the ones least likely to be my type." I'm with you there, in the sense that some girls have a fake Instagram or Snapchat that's only for customers, where they try to "build their brand", and that includes a for-fee section with "special pictures". I don't have any objection to this in principle; but experience tells me, these tend to be high-$ SW-hustler types or high volume types, and I'm not after either. My CFs pretty much never give me the "I only have snapchat" line, perhaps because they wouldn't have made it to become a CF if they were super high-$ hustler types. On the other hand, my CF offers me her snapchat? Fuck yes, for all the reasons I mentioned. Her story will be fun and sexy, but far better than that, millennial female culture around snapchat is, they send sexy pics. And hey, I love me some sexy pics of my CF.

-->"Signal is the most secure but are you really worried the NSA is gonna be reading to your texts to Destiny?" As someone who is fairly convinced that the NSA has intercepted all my dick pics, and they are currently all printed out and hung up around NSA headquarters with all the nerds laughing at them, I find the investment worth it. :) More seriously, I'm not terribly worried about this, but I said I'd be impressed if any of them picked Signal -- after all, they are the ones who are going to be sending me nude pics, etc. Why not pick an app where those pics won't be unencrypted on corporate servers? Signal is best, but any end-to-end encrypted platform works fine... even WhatsApp. I mean, Signal is no more difficult to use than Messenger; whether you think you "need" it or not, given that you're not giving anything up, why not take the safety?

I think it's way too premature to complain it's not working. The place has been an avalanche of troll shitposts for months now, why not give the new structure a chance to see if it works at all? It's not the solution I would have proposed, but I'm all-in on seeing if there's any improvements this way. If it hasn't made any difference in 6-12 months, founder can always change it again

Aham, that is definitely true. That's why it's a good idea to have her snapchat, instagram etc. in addition to her phone number. I've always found strippers are much more responsive to texts, than to DMs in their social media. But, when they change phone numbers, get their service shut off, etc., you can at least still reach them on snapchat (or kik, or whatsapp, etc), even if their service is shut down (as long as they can get to a wireless network)

TFP: not sure -- anyone and everyone who takes security seriously has heard of it. Most people don't realize that, for example, snapchat and messenger aren't end-to-end encrypted. Hell, most people probably don't know what that even means. Which means there isn't as big of a market for the most secure free communication platform in the world, versus a platform that proves over and over again is insecure but that you can get lots of "Likes" on. Or, in other words, pretty small target audience: people who care about security, realize how insecure most apps they use are, educate themselves on this. On top of that, Signal is free open source -- that means the main platform itself is not differentiated. That said, there are schools of thought in the security community that in order for a platform to really be secure, the software should be opened up to the entire security community to examine -- if all the best minds in security can't find problems with the algorithms, back doors, etc., then they probably don't exist. Versus closed-source software, where it's common to find big algorithmic problems, etc.

Signal is a free, end-to-end encrypted text, voice, video, group chat, image, and time-limited text app. It's claim to fame is that so far it appear to be very secure (that is, no one can break the encryption easily), which means that unlike SMS, snapchat, messenger, etc., your messages are actually just between you and whoever you're communicating with.

Text is most common, still. Some girls use instagram or Snapchat. Snapchat in particular is a good score -- very easy for her to send enticing pics! ANd the illusion of impermanence means she's tempted to do so. A very few pains in the asses ask use kik or whatsapp... I assume because their life situation is unstable and they don't always have mobile service. I'll be impressed if anyone ever suggests Signal :)

Jeff: that definitely explains your perspective. I find shooing away girls I'm not interested in to be effortless and stress-less; but I'm also happy speaking for a few minutes with (almost) any girl. Between my black belt level shooing skills, and the fact that I'm the happy idiot who doesn't mind socializing for a few minutes with fuglies, all of this is a non-issue. My bigger problem is that I enjoy 3-5 hours of non-stop drinking with my stripper of choice, and that doesn't happen as often when the ratio is too far off.

-->"Personally I would rather not know. " The subtle madness of true genius. lol ... seriously, I think that: 1. We really don't want to know what they're saying. For fuck's sake, it's not going to be nice 2. I don't know Founder's intentions, but consider that the purpose of the Dressing Room might be a bit more indirect -- it's not intended to be "fair", nor do I think Founder actually gives a crap about strippers having a safe space to talk. What it may do, is attract more actual strippers to tuscl. Whether that's a good thing or not remains to be seen -- but in general, I am all on board for giving all of this a go. Let the girls have the dressing room, make them a promise that their comments can't be seen by the guys (and won't ever be seen, sometime in the future; their comments are confidential) and let's see what happens. Exciting man!
