I live in Chicago and it's been a crazy year in terms of gun violence (see link below). The city is on pace for nearly 800 homicides, which hasn't happened since the early 90's. It's mainly confined to a few areas south & west of downtown.

I agree w/ mr. Duece & Papi. Arnies is definitely all about the extras w little to no stage shows. Club O & skybox are more traditional alternatives however there skbox seems to have more Latina dancers now than in the past. Papi mentioned temptations in Gary, IN, but last I heard they were shut down b/c of a raid, not sure if they are back open. There is a spot called fantasy which is just over the Indiana border in Hammond that had some decent sistas last time I went. Red diamonds would be great because they definitely have the eye candy, but the times I've been seating has been extremely limited. If you are willing to drive a bit further (about 45 mins), there are a few clubs in Gary, IN, that fit the bill. Area is very sketchy, but if you are looking for extra's, they are just about guaranteed in these spots.

Harvey isn't the greatest area, but the club is right off of a main interstate (I-57) & they have plenty of security watching the parking lot, so safety shouldn't be a concern.

Your best bet for extras in the area is Arnies in Harvey. It's about a 1/2 hr drive south from downtown Chicago, but you will definitely find extras for decent value.

I had a similar experience (minus the wait time) on a recent Sunday visit. Unfortunately this seems to be the new normal as all of the area clubs (Red Diamond, Sky11, V-Live, The Factory) now operate in a similar fashion.

Unfortunately a lot of these places have become more night club/place to be seen rather than a strip club. There were a lot of female customers. The majority of the customers were busy dancing with each other and recording it on their facebook/instagram live. I guess they don’t mind paying for that night club experience. It’s not for me though.

Not sure when you last visited Club O, but they are under new management. I believe that they are now only open Thursday-Sunday nights. No more day shift.

Accurate review. I was just here a couple weeks ago, and unfortunately the place does have more of a night club vibe based on my last couple of visits. Most of the best talent doesn’t come out onto the floor until between 1-2am on the weekends & by that time the place starts to fill up & you don’t really get a chance to enjoy the dancers. There is a smaller bar w/ a couple stools off to the left when you first walk in a corner. Your best bet is to post up there & grab the dancers you like when they come over for a drink. I was able to get a nice relatively private grind at the smaller bar early on in my last visit.

I don’t understand how pleasure palace is still open. The few times I’ve been the atmosphere was dead & the quality of the dancers was awful.

Sounds like you had a pretty good time. I haven’t had a chance to check out a Monday night at the slip in a few years, but from what I remember it can be fun (I won a bottle in the raffle on my last ameture night visit). It’s too bad that they don’t really get going until well after midnight.

Nidan, white guys are welcome here, you shouldn’t have any problems. The majority of the dancers and customers are black. The few times that I’ve been there have been white customers & they seemed completely comfortable. Last couple visits I’ve noticed that some of the staff ( lady who collects $ at front door, floor manager) are white.
PC, I only got one dance out on the floor, however, the a few of the girls who kept me company at the bar put on a little show (dancing/twerking right at the bar). I asked a couple of them about private dances & they said that they was no private dance area.

In my two visits so far all the dances take place out on the floor. They have private booths but I believe you have to reserve them, order bottle service & pay a fee to sit in them ( they were all occupied by large groups this past Friday). They have tables spread out throughout the club as well as seats surrounding each stage. The girls will dance for you wherever you are if you’re ready to tip. The dance mileage depends on the girl. I saw some younger girls who I’m assuming are inexperienced just twerking without taking anything off or allowing much contact. The girls I ended up tipping provided good grinding and two way contact at the bar and next to the stage. For the stage side dances, the girls were already naked from their stage sets & they allowed my hands to roam. I was never quoted a price, the girls will generally keep things going as longs as you are tossing a few singles here & there.
I think there is more mileage to be had at the pink slip or bottoms up, but the overall quality of girls is better at Onyx (I noticed a lot of the best girls from pink slip & bottoms up have made the move to Onyx). I’ve enjoyed both of my trips here, but they have both been on Friday nights. I’m hoping to get here during the week next time I’m in he area to see if there is a difference. I’m thinking you may be able to get private dances in the booths if it’s not crowded?

Thanks for the update on your three part adventure. I haven’t been to Roxy’s, so I’ll have to check it out next time I’m in the area. I agree that Fridays & Saturdays between 1-2am both bottoms up & pink slip turn into night clubs making it difficult to enjoy the dancers. I would suggest trying a Monday evening. Pink Slip has amautre night & it’s a more laid back atmosphere. Also a lot of the girls from the Brooklyn clubs have left for the recently opened Club Onyx in Centerville, but Onyx is closed on Monday’s so some of the girls come back to dance in Brooklyn on Monday’s.
