Thanks for the update. Any changes to the layout of the back room? Is is still just an open space or have they added any privacy?

There used to be an area for private dances near the DJ booth a few years back, but I have not seen anybody going back there nor have I been offered private dances in my last handful of visits here. I'm not sure if they still offer privates or what the cost is. They have done some remodeling so that private area may not exist anymore. I will definitely make it a point to ask next time I visit.

Looks like club o is under new management. The same people who run the boxxx now run club o. They tweaked the name and now call it the new club o. I haven’t visited since the change but my guess is that it won’t be anything like the old club o of the past. I think it will have more of a night club vibe with guys making it rain occasionally. If done right, this spot might put some pressure on the pink slip & bottoms up in nearby Brooklyn, IL. Those two have been the go spots to see big booty chocolate honey’s is the St. Louis area, but this place might change that.

PC, you are correct, most of the predominately black clubs in the Chicago area have changed into more nightclub than strip club. Its unfortunate and the reason why I don't club as much as used to. I'm hoping things change. If not I'll just limit my clubbing to when I'm out of town.

This spot has a “secured” lot right outside of the club that they charge $10 or $20 to park depending on the night. Another option is to visit pink slip around the corner & park in their lot which is free. Only catch is you have to go into the pink slip first or their security will give you a hard time.

This spot only does amateur night on Monday's. I checked it out once a couple years ago and it was a good time. I agree with you in thinking they should start it earlier.

Unfortunately, red diamond doesn't have a dayshift. Most of the spots in the Chicagoland area with the type of women you and I prefer seem to be shifting to the VLive model of the night club/make it rain scene.

I stopped by earlier this month on a Sunday evening & paid a $15 cover as well. I think that is the new norm.

Thanks for the write up. Reading this brings back some good memories from my early clubbing days. The former Cowboys in Markham is now operating as Red Diamond(open thur & sun nights). It is similar to the other south suburban black clubs, more of a party/make it rain spot than a traditional strip club. The people who run Red Diamond also run The Factory (open fri, sat & mon nights) in Chicago (120th right off bishop ford). Nice eye candy but not much value or mileage.
