End of an era

This is more of an FYI for anyone visiting St. Louis looking for black dancers. The pink slip is no longer an option. Apparently the Pink Slip shut its doors for good earlier this month. From what I'm told Sept. 8th was their last day in business. I haven't heard a reason why they decided to close, but I suspect that it was due to the competition from nearby Club Onyx which opened back in March. Even though it had its flaws I'm sad to see it go. Visits to St. Louis won't be the same without it.
