It made my day when I checked my cell at lunch and saw the news on Tucker Carlson. Yeah, he did have some interesting shows at times, when I could stomach watching for more than a few minutes. He was also a skilled, slick peddler of right wing spin and conspiracies, one of the best. He profited by deceiving and dividing Americans.
In the end, Carlson became the latest casualty of Donald Trump. His private texts about Trump, which I posted when I originated this thread, are rather fitting:
"I hate him passionately."
"He’s a demonic force, a destroyer. But he’s not going to destroy us. I’ve been thinking about this every day for four years."

Wow, Tetradon, the self-appointed TUSCL moderator, is allowing discussion of Don Lemon in this thread which is about the Dominion Lawsuit Against Fox News. LOL

Interesting stories as usual Rick. I pace myself fairly well at 2-3 a week when I'm stateside. When I travel the numbers are higher. The key at all times is scheduling and sperm management. It truly sucks having a 9 ready to make a fantasy come true but one is not up to it. I've been there a few times, mentally I want it but physically it's time to rest. I can't do much but laugh in those situations and tell myself "you fucking pig" lol.

I'm not familiar with CMI's posts but generally there are some guys who discourage posting names connected to specific services, for valid reasons. The thread you linked only had names, not services.

Yeah, that's why you posted multiple times about New York.

Here is the poster child of right wing brainwashing on crime - Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt (R).
It's a mid-term debate at 3:25 in the clip I posted, but here is the segment by itself:
https://twitter.com/dabbs346/status/1582873975453286400
Hofmeister (D): “The fact is the rate of violent crime is higher in Oklahoma under your watch than in New York and California, that’s a fact”
Stitt (R): Laughs and then interrupts: "Oklahomans do you believe that we have higher crime rates than New York and California? That’s what she said.”
Stitt sounds absolutely incredulous. Some people in the audience cheered him on too. Of course, the next day the media in Oklahoma confirmed that crime was indeed higher than in New York or California.

Very telling the refusal by some to look at crime in red cities / states. Instead, their responses are:
1. We're gonna call you names again
2. But look at this example of blue city crime
3. The left glorifies the criminal
Hard to say whether it's just simple ignorance is bliss, or all that right wing programming makes it difficult for the brain to deviate from the narrative.

Here's a good clip exposing Lying Fox News efforts to brainwash their viewers by keeping the news and discussion focused on only certain (blue) cities and states.

Lying Fox News as usual has more stories today about California and Portland, each with a lead photo showing poverty on the streets. I guess MSNBC and CNN could send a few reporters to camp out in red cities and capture unflattering photos every day there too, but they have higher standards than Fox News.

Wow. His bullshit made me laugh sometimes, but on balance, several negatives to the site overall as others have noted.

Good outcome. Justice was served, and Americans and the world have some additional reassurance that there are limits to how far you can take a big lie to subvert an election in this country.
This all leads back to Trump and adds to the growing pile of collateral damage to those around him. Murdoch just lost $787 million because of Trump.
All that's needed now is for Trump to be held accountable.

Having to re-write and re-read basic club layout descriptions of a club that is already well-reviewed is largely a waste of time. I will sometimes start a review with "This place has been described many times before." and skip a detailed description, and that works.

Walmart is closing stores in Texas and Florida too. Must be connected to the looting there also, right ?

Mark was just being a team player trying to amplify the right wing narrative of "out of control crime" in blue cities. In actuality, San Francisco has a violent crime rate on par or lower than other large US cities.

Wow. I visited a club in Warsaw last year (review published on TUSCL) and didn't have any trouble. I took (my) standard precautions for a new club, mainly not carrying any credit cards or other form of ID. Nothing but cash in my wallet. But thinking about it now, I realize I completely missed not anticipating a spiked drink. I'm aware of this risk in Colombia, but for some reason it never entered my mind in Warsaw. I could have easily had a different, bad experience had it been another club. Very hard to see that shit coming, you basically have to insist on a bottle that is provided unopened and you open it yourself, and then always keep an eye on it.

Good video Muddy, I like that the carjacker was bragging he'd be out of jail in just a few days, but instead got a 22 year sentence.
BTW the Will County prosecutor who gave the 22 year sentence is a Democrat, so that goes against the narrative that Dems are soft on crime.

Fox News keeps pumping out a steady stream of "big blue city in decline" stories to steadily brainwash their viewers, who really think they know what's going on in these cities and what's going to happen next.... hilarious.
Glad to see the support for abortion rights.

Rupert Murdoch as a businessman is probably pissed at the situation with Trump and putting his Fox News business at some risk with this lawsuit. His tabloid NY Post just published an editorial with a scathing rejection of Trump.
Trump won’t change, and that shows he can’t win
https://nypost.com/2023/03/24/trump-wont-change-and-that-shows-he-cant-win/
"Time and time again, Trump’s responses have been unhinged, indicative, and self-defeating.
And don’t buy for a second when he says he’s “fighting for you.”
If you actually “rose up” and were arrested, Trump would abandon you, just as he has every ally who wasn’t useful to him anymore.
What did he do for those locked up for months over Jan. 6?
What cash did he hand over for the candidates he endorsed in the recent midterm elections he torpedoed for Republicans?"
... it goes on and on....

Happened to me twice. One an escort and one a dancer, both who I later learned had done porn. Funnily enough, the dancer has videos on xnxx too. But she's older now, not worth linking. I saw her in her prime many years ago.

The MAGAs were indeed conned. At this point it's remarkable that many still refuse to acknowledge it.
Fox News clearly struggled with how to avoid alienating their viewers. In another revealing quote, a producer for Fox News host Tucker Carlson said in a text: “Like negotiating with terrorists, but especially dumb ones. Cousin fucking types, not saudi [sic] royalty.”

I listened to Tucker Carlson for a bit tonight.
What struck me was as he rambled on and on, he seemed to completely ignore the fact that laws had been broken (per the DA). He also tried to make the argument that Bragg was bringing these charges because Trump is running in 2024, and referenced prior statements from Bragg about his intentions. But that goes back to before Trump announced he was running, so Bragg's motivation was about the law, not about an election.
I will give Tucker Carlson credit, it takes a special kind of talent to conceal his hatred for Trump and appear indignant in order to avoid alienating the Fox News viewership, and keep his multi-million dollar salary.
