I noticed a porn star I really liked was in my area. This was right around the time OnlyFans was about to ban ‘porn’. I left a voicemail and she texted me back. She let me know her rate which was right in line with the going rate in the area and we arranged to meet at the upscale apt where she was staying. I was totally prepared to walk if it wasn’t her. Having done porn myself, OF and porn are not the same. Professional porn is a whole production with lighting, several cameras (sometimes a camera crew), and a makeup artist on set. Everything and everyone is safe because of the mandatory testing. Everyone who's legit in porn is in a directory we can access. There are also contracts and releases that must be signed.

OF is amateur porn shot in someone's bedroom or hotel room. And a lot of those who do OF are not safe and don't get tested. Most don't have contracts for release and shitty lighting.

They are absolutely not the same thing. OF is like the Walmart version of actual porn.

And we consider ourselves more of porn talent and not porn stars. Girls who do OF and have never done real pro porn are not porn stars.
