^^ Yep it appears the APEC default is alphabetical order, but there have been some exceptions. Trump has photos both in the back and front, and Biden does too. The fact Biden was in the back row in the photo you linked is not evidence that Peru snubbed him. Likewise all APEC world leaders had the red carpet treatment at the Lima Palace. So now your argument is the reception they had at the airport? From what I can find Biden had a military reception at the airport. But really, who cares about this level of detail to try to make an argument on whether Peru snubbed someone? You were fooled, and now grasping for straws to defend yourself.

Biden accurately called out similarities between Trump and Hitler. BTW, Trump made similar references to Biden. Biden and millions of Americans believe Trump is a threat to democracy. That hasn't changed. It's a testament to Biden's character that he received Trump as he did.

Biden's comments throughout the campaign make it clear what he thought of Trump and Harris. Any notion that he wanted Trump to win is just another hilarious, delusional right wing conspiracy theory. What we saw was Biden showing and reminding Trump and Americans how a peaceful transfer of power is supposed to occur. Something Trump was incapable of doing when he lost in 2020.

So the answer is: Generally, the order of world leaders in the photo at this meeting is alphabetical by country. So Canada and China end up in the front row, while Russia and US are in the back row. Nothing to do with marginalizing any particular country. Seems doctorevil and Puddy Tat have egg on their face for falling for this ruse from the right wing New York Post.

One of my favorite travel destinations has a couple of Lebanese restaurants with belly dancers who perform on some nights. The ladies are attractive and skilled, like in the video. Had a couple of belly dancers right up close dancing two feet in front of me.... I highly recommend it.

^^ The majority of Americans have an unfavorable opinion of Trump, the polling has been consistent on this. Many people voted for Trump not because they respect him but because they believed he would bring change. You know this. A man who tried to subvert democracy and overturn a free and fair election without evidence will not be respected by huge segments of the population. Trump will never be able to escape this, it is cemented in his legacy.

This was already going to be an unrespected Presidency. A decision like this just multiplies it.

Rio is manageable as long as you stay in the safer areas, and limit walking about at night. Copacabana beach was great and safe. The view from the Christ the Redeemer statue is incredible, but you need to go on a sunny day. I found Casablanca to be the best club in Rio with the highest quality. Small club, about 40-50 girls on a busy night, all dressed classy but sexy. There is a pole for dancing but I only saw it used once. Entry fee 100, takeout fee 200 and girls would leave for 600 (all $ BRL). All told it was about $200 US for an hour in the club with drinks and a couple hours back at my hotel room. I pulled several. This was a couple years ago.

Looks like orange had to backtrack on his false claim. It seems your and rick's argument now is "it wasn't formal Dem policy but it was their intention" (to have biological males compete with women in sports). That it total bs. If I had believed this for a second, I would have questioned my vote for Harris. The changes to Title IX were intended to address discrimination but didn't specifically mention transgender athletes or participation in sports. Normally, that should not have been more than a blip in the news cycle. But when there were some instances where biological males competed in women's sports, Republicans ginned that up into some giant issue threatening the entire country that Dems were pushing. This is definitely one of those topics where more proactive messaging and cutting through the right wing spin could and should have been used to reinforce this was not Democratic policy or intent. But Dems stayed mostly silent and let it fester. That's on them.
