^ BTW we had many independent contractors and subcontractors working on the job sites we were working, most of our projects were staffed by hundreds of individuals on any given day.

^ not sure when the I-9 rule was changed but to my knowledge we never had to deal with that, and I was pretty careful to be in compliance as the immigration authorities were always conducting raids on projects we were working, and my company was never cited in over 35 years of operation.

^ The way it used to work is businesses under a certain size we’re not subject to E-Verify requirements not sure if that’s still the case but when I sold my business in 2021 during the pandemic there was no requirement to file.

I don’t think they’ll (MAGA) recover from this, and the Republican Party Leadership will recalculate their position and get back to some semblance of normality.

I’ve met many TUSCLers, over the years, most were good guys, a few became close friends, meeting folks here is easier because usually everyone eventually comes down to South Florida. Having a good conversation about this hobby is always a plus.

The real question here is whether the Democratic Party give the nomination to Harris, the rest of this is if she doesn’t get the nomination, who can inherit the apparatus that will be necessary to get out the vote over the next few months The good news here is that Trump doesn’t have a guaranteed coronation. The likelihood of Trump winning the election just dropped by 15 percentage points.
