Yup, pretty much everything docsavage said. Overall, my preference is Dancers. No extras, but they do have hot women who know how to give a good dance. In my experience, management at The Pony is a little more relaxed than at clubs like Dancers and Brad's, and the girls are more willing to please - though not to the level you're accustomed to, I'm sure. The dancer quality can be pretty hit-or-miss, too, but it's been decent lately.

On stage, I don't care. If I'm going for a lapdance, and paying per song, and the DJ will actually play the whole thing, I'm going with the full 26 minute version of The Diamond Sea by Sonic Youth. It has the kind of grungy psychedelic guitar that's perfect for for a hot girl grinding on your lap. I'm sure the DJ would appreciate a nice break, too.

The only time I've ever encountered a 2-drink minimum (or any drink minimum for that matter) was in Vegas. I've never once been told in Indy that I needed to buy a drink. Then again, when I go into a club in Indy, I pretty much NEED a drink, so it's the first thing I do. Also, I remember when PT's was a good club. It's been a while since I've been there, and the last time I visited, I can say the place truly sucked.

Wearing a tiny g-string under bikini bottoms has pretty common around Indianapolis for years, in my experience. I've never seen one quite as revealing as the one the Reverend is pointing out, though. I can also remember one of my old favorites who didn't wear two bottoms, but would switch to an extra-small one for her good customers.

"Regulars" club might be putting it mildly. The last time I was there was 5 years ago, and I had nearly the same experience, except I didn't wait around for a cute stripper to suddenly sit on my lap.

I still haven't gotten back to a club since the beginning of covid. This is partly because dancer quality had already been declining for a few years in / around Indianapolis. There were times I saw dancers that were so obese that I was shocked the stage didn't collapse. Once things opened up again, I started checking out reviews, and nothing tells me that dancer quality has improved.

Thanks for clarifying, docsavage. Your reasoning behind Jaguars made me wonder. I haven't been there since it re-opened, and honestly had not been to Harem House in years (I always had more fun at Babes).

How much of this is based on current state of the clubs and how much on how they were "back in the days"?

Only sticking around long enough to spend $11 says quite a lot.

Both Kat and the Czech girl sound like girls I encountered at Dancers in Indy a couple years ago. I might have to make the trip to the Hugger to see if it's the same Kat, because I enjoyed the hell out of her dances.

It's been a while since I've been in any club, but I think $100 for 20 minutes is still one of the better deals in town. A year and a half ago, I think Pony had $100 for 15 minutes.

From my recent experience, it's pretty much a waste to show up before 10 on any night, unless you want to enjoy a beer in peace. Never been on a Monday.

I used to have days like that at Brad's. It's been a while, though, as can be seen in my last review. I'm glad you had a good time!

This is more of an addendum to the original review. Not really worth a new review of the club, and not there didn't seem to be a plain old 'comment'. Stopped by to compare the night before the OTHER race... 1) I'm pretty sure the dancer from the original review is Echo, but she definitely seemed taller last time. Tonight she seemed average height. Still talked about recently working at Brass Flamingo. 2) Different tall, brunette dancer tonight. Kendra, I think. She distinctly did NOT like her nipples played with, but liked her breasts and ass squeezed. Got quite wet. 3) Half-hour is overpriced at $260, but I continue to have luck with it lasting much longer, making it a bit more competitive with other clubs. Tonight's "half-hour" was nearly an hour (though I distinctly remember tipping the bouncer this time, so I'm sure that helped).
