There is no question that in the wake of Kamala's loss, Dems and their strategists still don't understand why they were shellacked. And they are making themselves look even more stupid with their explanations.
I too have noticed endless use of the phrase (or close variant of the phrase), "we have to look at our messaging" spouted on the cable shows by the cadre of Washington Dem consultants like Karen Finney, Maria Cardona, Jamal Simmons and the like.
Any normal person knows the economy sucks and inflation is rampant, and that the country is being overrun with mass immigration which is straining every facet of civil society. These Democrat consultants are out to lunch. They can't stop talking about "comms" and "messaging."
I don't see them fixing this in time for the next cycle. They are too woke and too dumb. I think they run Newsom or Shapiro in 2028 with either Whitmer or Buttigieg as the VP and lose again.

They never tell you what you need to know.
^Yes. The Dems keep trying to run the 2008 playbook, hoping that people will turn out in droves to elect "the first this" or "the first that." I mean, I get the allure of it because Obama's coalition was like hitting a straight flush: 90-96% of the black vote, 65% of all other minorities, huge youth support, and a majority of women. Theoretically (key word), hitting that is a near guaranteed win in modern America.
The issue for them is that was a one-time thing (though replicated somewhat in 2012 since it was Obama again). It didn't work in 2016 and now it failed again in '24. The economy sucks no matter how much they try to tell people with their bogus job numbers that it's good. And people have had enough of mass immigration.

They never tell you what you need to know.
I saw a segment about three weeks ago where a pollster was talking to undecided voters. He said what stood out to him most was how young men felt like there was no place for them in the Harris campaign messaging.
When being forced to watch one of Kamala's cringe commercials, it was incredible how almost every single person in those commercials was a woman (mostly women of color).
Kamala would bend over to hug a little black girl...then the ad would cut to Kamala walking through a factory which for some reason has two women foremen (or I guess "forepersons") and like a 80%+ female staff...then Kamala is talking to a Somalian-looking female doctor, then maybe throw in Kamala shaking hands with a token black guy in a bakery...then it's her speaking on a stage and it's like 96 women and 4 men behind her.
I mean, what the actual fuck? I get the strategy was to obviously drive female turnout but this isn't gonna work. To make matters worse, you then had nasty, sanctimonious Michelle Obama lecturing men in the final weeks of the campaign with a dour look on her face to "step up for women" and vote for Kamala, implying they were jerks if they didn't, completely ignoring what their concerns and needs may have been.
Just stupid and cringe. I think it was James Carville (noted Dem strategist who got Clinton elected in '92) who said a while back that the Dems had been taken over by "preachy females." I would say preachy females of color.
An exit poll from PA showed 51% of Hispanic males backed Trump. That says it all.
After Biden dropped out, there really was some genuine question if there would be a mini-primary. But what happened is 500 black women got on a Zoom conference call within hours of the news breaking to get Kamala coronated and block that possibility.
This feels like 1980 when Americans sharply repudiated Carter's horrible economy and presidency. It would be twelve more years and two more election losses before the Dems would win back the White House. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't win the presidency again until 2036. It honestly feels like they won't be able to wash away the woke in just four years. The one difference working in their favor now versus then is rapidly shifting demographics...but Trump is now in a position to maybe do something about that.

I agree with the comment about how this is all going to worsen with the attack on the nuclear family. I'm amazed at how Gen Z (i.e. under 24) kids view the world and how far from a "normal" worldview they have. Even just being around in the '90s and early 2000s gave most people a worldview of so-called normal things like having a salaried job, owning a house, envisioning yourself getting married with kids, being part of a stable community, etc. which the kids today don't at all view as normal (probably because it's gotten out of reach for so many of them).
The "new normal" for most of them is envisioning themselves becoming Instagram or TikTok stars and just cycling through various sexual partners with no (or very little) desire for a family with kids.
Unpacking this will get really political so I'll just leave it there, but Sinclair's experiences in the original post seem to demonstrate these generational differences.

^Thanks. Yeah I checked out their website and saw that they have twerk contests (ha) on Friday evenings and seem to have pornstars every week.
These days, I keep my expectations for SCs in check. Anything close to a pre-pandemic Mons Venus-style dance will do just fine and it does sound like Sapphire 39 may provide that based on reviews and your feedback. I do wonder why it seems to be more contact than Sapphire 60 though, since I found S60 to be really ho-hum with tame (i.e. mostly air) dances.
I guess it could be that S39 is trying to build itself up to S60's reputation.
Now to try and find a hotel that isn't $200 a night after tax in Midtown. That's probably not happening.

TimJo, I'm in a similar situation looking for NYC intel. Sapphire 60 does have hot chicks but my experiences with the lap dances there were just so-so when I went pre-pandemic. I'd caution against Flashdancers as the recent reviews there make it sound bad and I did not like it on my visit albeit that was a few years ago.
Rick's feels like a good middle-of-the-road option and I've definitely had some decent times there.
My interest level is highest right now though for Sapphire 39. Sounds like it might be on an upswing...

I fully get the sentiment about lack of American dancers against the backdrop of relentless Cuban/Latina takeover (experiencing a similar thing on my Vegas trips) but I think the mgmt at this place is less of a factor than an overall seismic shift which is happening all across the country and which most people either don't notice or acknowledge to anywhere near a significant extent. That trend is best addressed in a discussion thread rather than a review comment but in sum, something very major (and intentional) is happening in all Western countries and it's time to stop dismissing it as a "conspiracy theory." It isn't. You just need to look around.

"But she goes by Shelly on social media."
More info here would be helpful. I go to Sapphire frequently and have not seen a dancer matching this description (Asian, ultimate fitness model looking, 1500cc boobs). Being able to actually see her IG (or TikTok or whatever account it is) would really help others. Plus the dancer certainly wouldn't mind having her social get checked out.

Appreciate this review as I think it accurately sums up how truly far these Vegas places have fallen from as recently as a decade ago.
Two decades ago (i.e. early 2000s) might as well be another lifetime at this point as these clubs are a total shadow of what they were then.

^I would love to move somewhere in Ontario, Canada, just know I wouldn’t fit in though. I think it’s a beautiful, organized area, and I’m a weirdo that likes shitty weather.
I can understand feeling that way from afar, if you only visit occasionally and have positive associations with it, but I would just say you're not missing out very much and this is likely a "grass is greener on the other side" thing.
That said, certain parts of Ontario are nice, yes. As long as you don't mean Toronto, which has just totally failed as a city (rents and consumer good prices that rival NYC, horrendous congestion, collapsing public transit/traffic). I won't delve into the political side of things, but will just say that for Americans with fond impressions of Toronto or Canada as it was in the 1990s...trust me when I say it isn't that place anymore.

One place I would avoid is Sapphire NYC. Found it to be very glitzy and imo it would qualify as a tourist trap. If all else fails though it would be a good place for eye candy and atmosphere.
I did find Rick's Cabaret had a few girls who gave good grinds back in the two or three years right before the pandemic. Can't say what it's like now but based on reviews it seems to be trending down for contact and up for price (like pretty much every SC these days).

Kamala is the worst VP in American history, but I don't think she will be relevant in the general election. Historically, the bottom of the ticket has never been a factor in deciding who wins the presidency. They may provide a few embarrassing moments (Quayle being roasted for comparing himself to JFK, etc.) but the VP debate is forgotten in a matter of hours.
As absurd as it is, I think Biden (even now) could beat Trump by staying in his basement because all the media attention will be on Trump, who 52% of the country says they would never vote for under any circumstance and an additional 12% says they would probably not vote for (64% combined will probably not/never vote for Trump). Even if some of those probably nots cave, maybe he gets 42-44% of the vote in an absolute best-case scenario, which would be short. Even though the popular vote share isn't what's decisive, that figure wouldn't represent enough votes to win the necessary swing states and get to 270 in the electoral college.
Trump could literally be defeated by a potato.

^I'm not a Haley fan, but each of the points made above was sound.
These reasons may help explain this poll result after the debate:
Donald Trump: 45%
Ron DeSantis: 18%
Nikki Haley: 11%
Vivek Ramaswamy: 7%
Chris Christie: 4%
Tim Scott: 3%
Mike Pence: 2%
Larry Elder: 1%
Asa Hutchinson: 1%
Will Hurd: 1%
Doug Burgum: 1%

^DeSantis will start shifting to more national messaging in time. For the first debate or two though, a lot of people who don't follow politics too regularly were tuning in, and I think it made sense to emphasize his success in Florida.
But yeah, he can't just keep going to that well. I think he realizes that.

"Vivek opened by saying he and his family followed their faith in God. I believe that was intentionally misleading. He is a Hindu, which is fine. But Hindus have hundreds of gods and six -SIX!- main deities, three gods and three goddesses."
That phrase "intentionally misleading" pretty much sums him up. In every conversation, on every platform, he's calculating what he needs to say at that very moment (just like ChatGPT) to maximize his chances at making a sale...of Snake Oil.

Snake Oil Salesman Ramaswamy had an interesting debate. He took a lot of incoming, but the polished slick con man had his canned one-line retorts ready.
I found it interesting that he made comments during the debate about how God is real and that faith-based learning can play a part in addiction recovery. A very curious strategy; he tries to appeal to people of faith across the country, but does so while belonging to literally A DIFFERENT FAITH! Apparently, he thinks Hinduism (his religion) and Christianity are interchangeable, like Coke and Pepsi.
Ah, but so it is with Snake Oil Salesmen, they are already thinking of how to spend your money (or, in this case, votes). The question is, will GOP primary voters fall for the ruse? I'll admit I can see Snake Oil gaining a few points with the media darling treatment that liberal Fox News (aka MSNBC Lite) gave him tonight.

Trump will surely lose the general as pointed out above and this makes it all the more frustrating that the only GOP primary candidates with the balls to stand up to him are DeSantis and Christie. Pence is obviously a beta who waited until the last minute (literally had to have Trump supporters threaten to hang him and he still took two years before finally denouncing him).
This is why Trump testicle-soothers like Vivek Ramaswamy are so pathetic. Here, you have a guy who is just thinking about himself and will defend Trump to hopefully get the VP pick, even though Trump has no chance in hell of winning the general.
Attn GOP:
1. Nominate DeSantis and likely win
2. Nominate Trump and surely lose
These are your two options. There are no others. Figure it out or don't.

It does not surprise me in the least that Ramaswamy is linked to Soros. He is obviously a pro-mass immigration candidate who will avoid revealing his true hand in the primary, but is just another in an endless slew of big business shills that yammer on about "American excellence" and "entrepreneurial spirit."
This is simply coded language that had been used by both parties since the 1990s to convince American workers to allow their jobs to be shipped off to the Third World; a task now made immeasurably easier with automation/technological advancement.

Gotta just be amused when folks cherry-pick polls that show their guy in a positive light, leaving out the multitude of others (such as the recent all-important NBC News Iowa poll) that tell such a different story.
That's leftist argumentation. Do better.
