Hooters isn't a strip club! Do Hooters girls walk around topless with their boobs hanging out fully exposed, or even fully nude? Do Hooters girls let you touch their boobs? Do Hooters girls flash customers? No. Hooters girls have clothes on. Even though the clothing is sort of on the skimpy side (tank tops, short shorts, and such). Hooters is a restaurant chain.

@georgmicrodong It's very unlikely to happen. The Fort Myers Police Department (FMPD) has been really cleaning up Fort Myers for the past decade or so. When a crime occurs, the FMPD investigates; they don't dilly-dally like in Chicagoland. And speaking of your point, the Chicago suburbs of Harvey, Sauk Village, and Ford Heights are practically allready havens for ruthless, cop killing terrorists! Same with East St. Louis and Washington Park!

PhantomGeek, AK-47 rounds have an average muzzle velocity of 2,350 feet per second, or roughly 1,600 miles per hour. At that sort of speed, practically any type of ammunition can tear through cinder block walls.
MrDeuce, Illinois media is known for sweeping violent crime rates under the rug. For example, rapes occur all the time in Chicago proper, but Chicago's rape numbers and statistics as of lately are shown only as "N/A".

Deogol, AK-47 rounds are easily capable of ripping through steel and concrete like Red Ryder BB gun rounds through Velveeta cheese! In fact, once during the 1997 North Hollywood shootout, a group of LAPD officers took cover behind a concrete wall, and when one of the officers fired at the gunmen, the gunmen turned around and sprayed the officers' area with AK-47 fire, and the officers said point blank that those AK-47 rounds tore right through that concrete wall like it was butter.
And for 4got2wipe, yes I am very much against people bringing guns/firearms, including AK-47s, into strip clubs!

So I guess either strip club goers think they are immune to violence, or they think that the higher violent crime a neighborhood is, the better the clubs are!? Many of you guys, especially those who rate Atlantis and all the other Chicagoland south side strip clubs east of Illinois 50/Cicero Avenue as "the best," are starting to sound like all those innumerable Chicagoland ladies that are moving from the far suburbs into the ghetto, even into Chicago's worst neighborhoods, because they are tired of suburban guys losing their jobs, getting laid off, and such, and are hooking up with criminals, gangsters, the guys that get their trainloads of money, their luxury vehicles, their luxury houses, and all else, through crime and illegal drugs!

Cook County is known for sweeping much of it's violence under the rug, including in Harvey. Also, countless news broadcasters have been shot and murdered and had their vehicles shot up while trying to broadcast in Harvey, as well as in many numerous south suburbs, even including others such as Ford Heights, Sauk Village, Chicago Heights, Dolton, and such. Those cop killers are also known to fire their guns at any kind of aircraft that flies overhead; even private planes! Because of that, the Media doesn't go in there at all anymore. And when the media won't go in there, no news can come out of there.

@Phantom Geek It is a horribly, tremendously dangerous area when at least 90 percent of those wall to wall crowds are cop killers, FBI-wanted fugitives, flash mobs, gang bangers, and drug dealers. All wielding AK-47s, TEC-9s, MAC-10s, revolvers, and Colt-45s and getting lap dances strictly with stolen cash and credit cards. Not to mention when they are snorting cocaine, smoking marijuana, and injecting heroin all night at that club and getting higher than kites.

@Electronman Because Club O is always advertising itself all over the world. Club O has another billboard advertisement most likely right next to I-80/94. Club O loves to post on it's Facebook page stuff like "come on over and have fun with our beautiful ladies" and similar stuff. Club O loves to advertise itself as a club that "blows the others away." Club O loves to present itself as "a place to come and relax, have a great time" and all else. As if they think they don't have enough wall to wall crowds every day and night allready from the surrounding neighborhoods. And there are Chicagoland strip clubs in much safer neighborhoods than Club O, and are very likely far better quality.
For instance, Blackjacks Gentlemen's Club in Elgin sits in a very safe neighborhood, and unlike Club O, Blackjacks doesn't play around at all; you even pull a gun or even a knife on someone at Blackjacks, they will throw you out and report you to the police.

@chessmaster Yes, there are a lot of cop killers that hang out at Atlantis, but there are also lots of cop killers that hang out at Club O, Skybox, Jimmy's, Club 390, and Diamonds. And in fact, considering the fact that Club O sits next to a vacant hotel and Atlantis doesn't, I have a gut feeling that Club O might actually be a bit more dangerous than Atlantis.

@JohnSmith69; Cop killers live in Harvey, John! And so do news broadcaster killers, serial killers, and they carry big high powered AK-47 rifles and MAC-10s! And they probably even wear heavy body armor from head to toe. If even a squad of armed policemen don't stand a chance against those lethal killers, neither would a Tuscl meetup!

@rickdugan I'll tell you a really good valid reason to hike all the way out to Elgin! It is better to go to a dry (no alcohol) strip club and spend $30 per topless lap dance and be safe and secure than to go to one of those death traps/gangster run strip clubs in Harvey and/or Hammond, and get shot, murdered, car jacked, and left for dead, and then nobody knows what happened to you because, as even news broadcasters get shot and murdered while broadcasting in that area, and those criminals even fire their guns at aircraft flying overhead, the community remains totally silent about it. In that ENTIRE south suburbs area between Illinois Route 50/Cicero Avenue and Interstate 65 in Indiana, the killers and gangsters are in full control. Over three quarters if not more of those south suburbs, including but not limited to Harvey, Chicago Heights, Ford Heights, Hammond, Munster, and such, they have gang bangers and hardened thugs in the Mayor's office, as well as in practically all lower departments (police, fore, medical, public works, and such)!

That's because Crook County, Illinois sweeps it's violence under the rug, as do those gangster mayors of Harvey, Chicago Heights, Ford Heights, and all of those south suburbs of Chicago east of Cicero Avenue, and also the towns/cities west of the Merrillville/Gary, Indiana corridor.

Lap dances at Blackjacks are only $50 for full nude! Topless lap dances at Blackjacks are $30. That is the same price you'd pay at Atlantis and quite a few other strip clubs in the area. Also, Blackjacks occasionally has specials of $50 for 2 lap dances back to back! And so what if Blackjacks doesn't serve alcohol? Alcohol isn't exactly good for you either, especially when consumed in large amounts. Excessive alcohol intake has been linked with a number of diseases, including cirrhosis of the liver!

It's not just Club O that has been under media attack, it's also Club 390 in Chicago Heights, Jimmy's Gentlemen's Club in Chicago Heights, Skybox Steak and Sports Bar in Harvey, and the most dangerous of the lot; Atlantis Gentlemen's Club in Ford Heights. I boycott it because those clubs always enjoy advertising themselves all over the place. Club 390, Skybox, and Club O have also even had billboard ads next to major highways. When they do that, too many innocent people take the bait, go to those clubs to try them out, and often end up getting gunned down, murdered, and then robbed, sometimes even before they reach the club entrance. And I really feel for all those people who wanted nothing to do with the gangs or mobs, just to relieve some sexual fantasies at those south side clubs, but trouble came up, crunched them down, and spat out their skeletons. Also, by the way, Halsted goes through ALL bad neighborhoods nonstop from Lawrence Avenue (4800 north in Chicago proper) all the way south to Steger Road (23100 south).

Blackjacks is the Chicagoland place to go to when you don't want to get shot and gunned down and then robbed and left for dead in the parking lot. Also, Industrial Strip is in a totally unsafe area. Hammond, Munster, Whiting, East Chicago, Dyer, Highland, Griffith, Black Oak, Schererville, Garry, and Merrillville are all extremely high violent crime towns and areas, as are the areas, cornfields and all, in between, that same ghetto which extends across the Illinois/Indiana border and extends nonstop all the way west to Illinois Route 50/Cicero Avenue.

Melrose Park, Stone Park, Maywood, and Bellwood are not safe places to be, especially between sunset and sunrise. They have a lot of gangs and gang bangers, and some of those gang bangers do often hang out at Carls, Bobbys, Scores, Louies, and those other bars/clubs in that area.
