If only we can all extinguish the little embers of racism left in our hearts…
"What is racism anyway. And why does it have such a negative connotation? Seems like pretty much all blacks hate white people and all white people hate black people." Found the racist.

@skibum609: "The left and their cohorts are following the Josef Goebbels handbook to a T. Just substitute white folk for Jews." It's not like the right and their cohorts wouldn't like to bring back the Inquisition. Plenty of authoritarianism and fascism on both extremes.

    Strippers Unionizing
The issue is usually that clubs want to *classify* strippers as independent contractors for tax purposes, but *treat* them like employees. That's a no-no according to federal law, and probably even more of a no-no under California law. So if they're going to be treated as employees, they're going to be classified as such, and employees can join and/or form unions. It's the clubs' own damned fault for trying to have it both ways.

The amount of delusion in this threat is truly astounding.

Be careful who you talk to
@Brahma2k: "That is definitely part of the story but the bigger part is about the process of selection on who YOU reveal intimate details to (and an additional part about personal responsibility)." According to Bob, he did NOT reveal intimate details. I know he's never revealed such to *me*, and I tend to assume that he did the same to others. Of course, he could be lying or mistaken, but in either of those cases, the warning is still relevant. That said, even if he's not lying or mistaken, he obviously dropped enough clues, consciously or not, for Bill to figure things out. It's also possible that Bill simply assumed facts not in evidence and just thought he'd fuck things up.

    Prude rules for strip clubs...
Oddly enough, some clubs don't want to deal with the ramifications, legal or social, of allowing activities that might be illegal, or appear to be so, under local laws, and so discourage those activities, however innocuous the rest of us might believe those activities to be. I've been known to push a boundary or two myself on occasion, but I also recognize some people and organizations aren't as liberal as I am.

@skibum609: "My wife found out last year that one of her sisters had come to see me for a divorce" Would that not have violated some version of confidentiality? I've never been quite clear on exactly when the "official" client confidentiality thing kicks in.

I expect that if Bob *is* here somewhere, he'll see this. No idea if he'll chime in.

@gammanu95: "So is Bill a monger on this site we need to be wary of?" Not a clue. Bob never mentioned TUSCL, and neither did I.

Is Minnow taking over where DesertScrub left off?
Nah. Even if the god of Bible *is* real (unlikely in the extreme), he's not worthy of my worship. And spending eternity kissing his ass would be worse than any hell I can think of.

Do you still actively go to strip clubs?
As opposed to "inactively go to strip clubs"? 🙃 Yes, once , maybe twice, a month.

    Not really missing strip clubs
@motorhead, yeah, after my ATF was killed, I wondered if I'd ever go back as well. I did, but go back, and found my current favorites, but it's not the same. Still good, just not the same.

@dha: "I'm a sinner, a hypocrite, a liar, cheater, profiteer, a charlatan, etc etc etc. Now that we got that out of the way, how about you coming clean about what you are." Well, I'm not a sinner, nor a liar, cheater, charlatan. I do my best not to be hypocritical, but I doubt I succeed. And I am definitely not a profiteer, though there's nothing wrong with profiting from one's intellect and/or labor.

And the fact that the pot is, in fact, black, does not change the fact that the pot is a hypocrite.

    How often?
Depends on circumstances. Right now, being regularly and satisfactorily fucked senseless by someone like my current sugar baby, maybe once or twice a month, and then only if one of my two current favorites are working. I'll get dances from others while I'm there, but if one of them isn't working, I usually don't bother going out. During those times when I'm not "dating" someone, I'll go much more often, maybe 5-6 times per month, sometimes even more often.

"Just give me what you think it was worth?"
I don't usually let that sort of thing happen; I like to know the damage going in. However, it has happened a couple of times. I know the going rate in my local clubs, so that's what I would give her, plus or minus depending on how good it was.
