So far there this year there have been two assassination attempts against President Trump and none against VP Harris or President Biden. It seems like people who hate President Trump are the extremists.

@wld4tatas What ever the European leaders want, they do not want to spend money on their military. They would prefer the US fights their battles so they can spend on social programs. It is time that they pull their own weight. I have no love for Putin but the USA does not have to pay for all of world's problems.

@gammanu95 The only people who people who believed VP Kamala's allegations that world leaders are laughing at President Trump are people who already hate President Trump. I don't think she convinced anyone undecided with that lie. Some World leaders like him. Some are scared of him. None are laughing.

@ibbaicnl I would be all for a Consumption tax to REPLACE the income tax. It sounds like it would be more fair because even people in organized crime, etc would have to pay taxes when they consume something (unless the buy it on the black market of course). But they would have to get rid of the Income Tax first. Otherwise we will just end up with more taxes like in Europe where they have Income Tax PLUS the VAT. "Value Added Tax" is a laughable name being that it adds no value.

I have been considering betting on the candidate I do not want to win as a hedge. That way, if the candidate I do not want to win is elected at least I’ll win a grand to make me feel a little less bad on Election Day.

@JamesSD I did not expect pet eating from migrants... although if it were from Chinese migrants it would have been more plausible, lol. It is a shame that that is the message out of Springfield, OH because there is a real issue. Springfield is a town of 59k people & the government saw fit to place 15k Hatian migrants there. Now all of the Hatian people I know are salt of the earth good people & hard workers. But even if there are 15k good people in a town of 59k it is going to overwhelm the resources of the town. Gov DeWine gave the town $2.5M to the town to help them control this. That is the real issue in Springfield.

Review seems on point. I can deal with old and maybe a little ugly but they have to be fit or at least thin. It seems like many (not all) of the ladies here are too plump for my taste. But then that is the general trend at most clubs. Younger girls seem to be okay with being fatter.

The questions themselves were not surprising. So Kamala stayed in a room with a bunch or debate prep experts and rehearsed answers to the 35 most likely things that would be asked. Something most high school juniors could do with sufficient support. The real bias came out by fact checking Pres Trump. I do not think it is moderators place to fact check anyone. Some of the things they claimed to have fact checked lead the moderators to mistate things or were at least highly subjkective. The other bias in the questions was that when they asked VP Harris about the southern border or if people felt the economy was better unde4r Pres Trump, The Veep did not answer. @misterorange I think VP Harris introducing herself by name was because Pres Trump mispronounced her name a lot in the past. So it was likely rehearsed. I agree it seemed rehearsed and was awkward but it was nice that she walked over to him to shake his hand.

VP Kamala gave a better performance. No doubt about it. She fired up her base for sure. But did she win over any undecided people? She was able to goad Pres Trump in to talking about whatever topic she wanted. She steered the conversation away from topics like immigration & the economy to her benefit. On the other hand she really did not answer any questions. She gave broad nonspecific rehearsed answers with no policy. Pres Trump's closing argument was likely his strongest. He said if she wants to do all these things then why hasn't she done them for the last 3 1/2 years. If she really wants to close the border all she has to do is get Pres Biden to sign an order. He did not call her out on changing all of her positions over the last 3 months to align with what the polls say voters want. The day before the debate CNN published an article showing how then candidate Harris filled out an ACLU questionnaire in 2019. Kamala checked off that she wanted to: -legalize all drugs -have the US government pay for gender reassignment surgery for detained migrants -end ICE -end any form of immigration detention A better prepared Trump could have hammered her all night on this CNN article alone. Trump is ill prepared for any debates. But is Kamala prepared to do anything more than four more years of open borders and closing businesses? I don't think she convinced many undecided voters of that. If she wants a chance she has to distance herself from the failed policies of Joe Biden. Otherwise it will be a second Term for Pres Trump and she will fade in to relative obscurity.
