I believe we customers must play a role in enforcing proper SC etiquette.
Last night I was in a club with a dancer seated next to me and we were chatting idly, not serious conversation but polite discourse. Suddenly another dancer came over, plopped herself in my lap, and began a new conversation whereupon my original companion got up and stalked off.
I reprimanded the girl in my lap and insisted that she go and apologize to the girl she had offended by "cutting in" on our conversation. While this interloper seemed genuinely surprised that I was offended by her action, she did go and apologize. I later discovered that such rude interdiction had become increasingly common at that club, not just from this one dancer but also from others.
We customers can not control everything that occurs at a club but we can help to enforce positive etiquette. The result will be less dancer drama and an improved "vib" for us all.

CT, with all this talk of "moving furniture" I think your new nickname should be "One Man and a Truck" LOL.

Another advantage to having a good relationship with servers is that they will save your seat when you go to the VIP even when the club is crowded. That's always one of my peeves when I return from a few lappers upstairs and find my table occupied by another PL.

I've never been able to comprehend the appeal of food at a SC. It's kind of like putting a library in a ballpark. While I enjoy reading as well as sports, when I'm at a ballpark I am NOT there to read. Similarly, when in a SC I am NOT there to dine (except perhaps at the Y!)

Good article so far. This topic could use a description of the evolution of SCs where the primary activity was what happened on the stage to today where much of the emphasis is upon LDs. When and where did this evolution occur? What promoted it? How many clubs today feature only stage dancing? When did the VIP become common?
