The NASCAR race is going on in Sparta this weekend which means there will be a pretty good crowd at Racers. The place is usually so-so, but with the race, it will be packed.

A couple of thoughts.
Just about every club I've been to has a black dancer or two -- and they are attractive -- yet I have no interest in getting dances from them. It is nothing personal but I prefer white or latino women.
I frequent a club with a heavy black clientelle and the dancers tell me (especially the white ones) that the black clients treat all the girls (and especially the white ones) badly. This leads me to believe that if I owned a club, I would prefer a white crowd because it would keep the dancers happy and it might be hard for a black dancer to make a living if more of the white guys think like me.
I am not racist and I feel bad for having the preferences I do, but it is just the way I feel.

My favorite club is open at noon and changes shifts at 7 so I like to show up around 6, before they start charging a cover. The first shift girls are tired so they aren't as aggressive about getting dances so I can usually get a good discussion going. When the night shift comes on, you can usually get your pick of the girls because they haven't paired off yet with the patrons.

"Your honor, my client, Mr. Mickey Mouse requests a divroce from his wife on the basis that she is mentally unstable," Mickey's lawyer tells the judge.

Sounds like the owner. "We have" is used in second sentence. How did he know that two new girls were coming to audition?

I am not surprised. There are some pretty shady people in Amber's and they will try to get away with a lot of things. I have had dancers try to over-charge me for dancing, charge drinks to my tab without my permission and a hundred other things.

You hit the nail on the head. Old and run down, dances are nothing special and the food is awful. It is a far cry from the $10 dances from a couple of years ago that featured excellent mileage.
