While there certainly is plenty of merit in your public service announcement, there is also the other side of the coin. Entertainers need to shower (prior to the shift) and maintain a certain level of hygienic appeal throughout the shift (wet wipes/tooth brush). Just as the obvious seem to allude many customers, so does it allude 1 out of every 3 dancers.

Benny5: I didn't ask Alex for her schedule. To my knowledge, she's working days until 8:00 PM. You can make a club visit and figure it out or not! I look forward to your first post on TUSCL that offers any information about an actual club visit (day or night).

Alex is still looking fine to my eyes! Given that the club is only open five days a week and the day shift is 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM - there's a good chance you'd see Alex between 7:00 and 8:00 on either day (early evening). As an aside, the night shift is 7:00 PM to closing.

The club has been reviewed 6 times in the last week and not every visit gets to unearth club new tidbits. I was in Wednesday for the first time since Covid and have chosen to revisit before posting a review. "Fenway" has reviewed locally in the past and if he actually cribbed - I believe he would have nailed drink price and dancer names. Bacardi and Coke was $11.00 on my recent visit and a domestic beer is typically $6.00, but Bud Light on Wednesday "day" might have been $5.00 (didn't personally partake).

As I understand Loper's comment, the club was not asking him to pay the cover twice on his visit (s). I also take it that his quick peek at the quality on the shift was not worth paying the cover. I do understand customer relations aspect, but most clubs fail there in their grab for money.

Tetra: You allegedly visit Desire RI. It's my experience at Desire that they push 4 drinks an hour! Usually I have my two high test and then nurse a coke or two (personal preference). One of the last times that I was there in 2020, Gerard came at me after my 3rd drink in 45 minutes. I had to ask Dorothy (bartender) to confirm that I'd already bought my 2 high test drinks and had met Gerard's two drink minimum in 30 minutes. I personally believe that his issue was that I wasn't pounding drinks and that I had turned down Bianca and Reign's individual overtures in a 10 minute window where I didn't have a 2nd coke (4th drink in an hour). I did tell him that I had turned both down both dancers nicely and I named the 5 dancers on that shift that I would do business with (if and when) they became available. I told him that as the owner of the club if he wanted to facilitate entertainment with any of the 5 named dancers - I was all in. I was comped a drink by Gerard later, as Dorothy (or another Dancer) must have told Gerard that I was an active participant when with a dancer.
Perhaps you could let Rick be Rick in FLA and start sermonizing and demonizing the locals drinking up on your next trip to Club Desire. I am sure that your efforts will be well received inside the Club and noted graciously by club ownership!

mikeym: This club has never (even for a day) been the best strip club in Rhode Island. This club has typically been able to keep together a decent lineup, been a good change of pace club, and been well run by management.

Club Alex’s reopened at least a month ago on a modified opening 3 or 4 nights a week currently. Foxy Lady Brockton will reopen Wednesdays to Sunday’s eff. 4/28/2021 from 3:00 PM to closing. Foxy Lady Brockton is now named Boardroom Cabaret.
Anyone know the Mario’s Showplace plan on reopening?

Drove by today and the Boardroom Cabaret will be reopening on April 28th. The phased reopening will be Wednesday to Sunday 3 PM to closing each day, according to a couple of banners hanging out front and out back.

Living well and enjoying my retirement
A recumbent exercise bike for those days that it's not comfortable outside. The common complaints (besides boredom) of most exercise bikes is the seat being uncomfortable and that's not an issue on a recumbent bike. To overcome the boredom - set up a situation to entertain yourself with audiobook, music, or whatever your interest is on TV.
