It’s called the Uniparty. It’s every politician and bureaucrat who has gotten wealthy under the current corrupt structure. I figure it’s about 80% of elected officials and 100% of government employees above entry level.
How else would someone like AOC go from bartender to multimillionaire in just a few years.

Those of us over 40 remember an America that was much freer, happier, and United than we are now. Not perfect, certainly, but better than now and better than young people are being told about the past.
Something has gone very wrong and history is being rewritten to hide that fact.

I agree about the establishment Republicans. They are scum.
You referred to the Right. I assumed you meant Conservatives.
The establishment Republicans are ( slowly, too slowly ) leaving office.
In my opinion, the future of the party is embodied by Vivek Ramaswamy.

Conservatives believe in a smaller, less intrusive government. They believe in individual liberty above all else. Conservatives just want the government to leave them alone.
The left wants central control by the anointed elite in federal government.
Florida, Texas, and Arizona are overflowing with strip clubs.
You might want to reflect on your assumption that the right would shut down clubs.

In many places, rents and home prices are going down. Evictions are up. The explosion in the number of short term rentals is destroying that business model. Overbuilding of apartments in previous CoVid hot spots is about to flood the market.
A lot of corporate RE investors are selling inventory and scaling back on home purchases. A lot of their financing is adjustable rates. That’s killing them. They get a better return on bonds and TBills.
We will see a gradual increase in homes for sale. Will it crash ? It might in some places.

Experienced, long term RE investors can do well.
Unfortunately, there are always a group of new RE investors who think home prices and rents can only go up. They leverage their investment and are financially unprepared for the occasional correction.
The Philadelphia Fed study suggests that a significant percent of homes are owned by this kind of unprepared investor. Bad for them. Bad for the housing market.

“Vivek represents a kind of conservatism for the future: he believes in individual responsibility, he believes in freedom, he believes in entrepreneurship. He actually embodies many of the things that makes America the greatest country in the world.

Homeowners won’t sell because they have 3% mortgages. The only people selling are those who don’t need to buy a replacement for various reasons ( e.g. investor owned ).
The only people buying are those with high incomes who are desperate to buy ( e.g. moving a family to a new city ).
It’s a game of chicken. If all the AirBnB, investor owned, and vacation homes were to suddenly hit the market, prices would fall dramatically. Otherwise, it’s going to take interest rates coming down, whenever that might be.
That’s why the number of homes that aren’t owned by the primary resident are key to what happens next.

In 2008, it took 2 years to hit bottom. We have at least one more year, maybe two, before we hit bottom.

The problems are city by city, even by neighborhood. It is worst in outlying areas of the cities that were hot spots during CoVid. Austin is getting killed. Dayton, Ohio not so much.

The number of Airbnb homes has doubled over the last year. A lot of people thought it was a quick and easy way to build wealth. Perhaps as a result of this, the average revenue for an Airbnb rental has been cut in half, meaning they are having a tough time covering their expenses.
So, a lot of these homes are now being offered as long term rentals and are still sitting empty.

Pretty much everything the left claimed was a phony conspiracy theory over the last 6 years has been shown to be true. Nothing surprises me these days.
I think the elite in academia, media, tech, and government is widely corrupt and the only solution is to tear it all down and start over again.

It will be nuclear in the sense that home values will plunge, homeowner equity will be wiped out, and banks will lose billions. But, yes, a lot of people will finally be able to purchase a home.

Too much of a good thing is never enough
The funny business that may have stolen the 2020 election took place in a handful of blue cities.
When improprieties were suspected before the election, the legal argument was that no harm had taken place yet. When improprieties were suspected after the election, the “ election denier” label became a weapon to shut down investigations.
In Phoenix, it took a couple years to uncover what really happened. The law mandates that signatures on mail in ballots be matched against drivers licenses. Instead, over 100,000 ballots had zero signature checking. Nearly all had no signature or just a squiggled line. Biden won by 10,000 votes in Arizona.
The only way Biden will be defeated in 2024 is if measures are taken in these half dozen cities to prevent wide scale fraud.

Keep it in my pants when I do OTC. If I were a stripper it would stand for I like big bucks and I can not lie.
I like the way the British describe certain activities in an understated way. She’s animated.
When a politician is drunk in public ( which happens often in the UK ), they use the code words tired and emotional to avoid a lawsuit.

“A popular vision for how to restore unity: move back to “the middle.” I reject that. We won’t deliver national unity by standing in the proverbial “middle,” singing kumbaya and compromising. That’s the wrong approach: America’s founding ideals are inherently extreme. We’ll restore unity by reviving a shared commitment to those ideals, without compromise & without apology.“

“A federal judge issued a ruling ordering Donald Trump to respond to a protective order filed by the Justice Department that would block the former president from sharing details of evidence from his Jan. 6 criminal case proceedings.”
It wouldn’t surprise me if the Judge uses this as an excuse to put Trump in jail until the trial ( next year ).

The latest news is that Jack Smith apparently withheld evidence from the Trump attorneys. Often, that would result in charges being dismissed. We’ll see.

Pull 50,000 troops from Europe and the Middle East and put them on the border. Shut down human and drug trafficking. Use signals intelligence to locate cartel leaders and work with Mexican Federales to take them out.
Problem solved.

The Capitol police force is fiercely controlling of security at the Capitol. The President has no control over that. At the time, the police reported to Nancy Pelosi.
Trump offered them 10,000 national guard for 1/6 and Pelosi turned him down.
What do you mean “ what he did after 1/6 rioting starting “ ?
