    Okay, here’s a story more relevant to whether Biden will be the nominee. The WH cocaine story has now changed 4 times 1. Reportedly “ near the WH” 2. In the WH working area 3. In the WH library 4. Now, they are saying it was in a cubby near the west entrance. We are told the Secret Service is diligently investigating this. Meanwhile, the agent who found it certainly knows where it was found and there are cameras everywhere filming everything. They just need to look at video from the location where it was found. The only people entering the WH who are not thoroughly searched are the President’s family Members and Cabinet Secretaries. Oh, and Hunter was there recently. Video of him while watching WH fireworks on July 4 has him twitching like a meth head.

    At a press conference about the recent mass shooting in Philadelphia, a BLM activist said conservative media is committing verbal "violence" by sharing photos of the shooter wearing women's clothing because he was not really trans.

    It will be Biden vs Trump. Trump voters from 2020 will vote Trump. Biden voters will vote Biden. Nobody will change their mind. Democrats will try to cheat at the same scale they did in 2020 in Detroit, Phoenix, Atlanta, Milwaukee, Philadelphia. Republicans know how the Dems are going to cheat but still may not be able to stop it. Too many Democrat appointed judges. The legal challenges to the vote will go on until inauguration. It will be a mess.

    Incidentally, SpaceX, which includes the starlink communication satellites, is valued around $150 Billion. Elon owns about 95% of that. He is expected to take that public in a few years, by which time it should be worth a lot more. So, he is building the world’s most powerful Artificial Intelligence computer ( Dojo ), has a media site that controls the flow of information ( Twitter ), he plans on building billions of robots ( Optimus), he has a worldwide communication network in space ( Starlink ), he has a fleet of rockets ( SpaceX), and millions of cars controlled by AI. Has anyone seen a movie called Terminator ?

    “It wasn't a financially-sound move, for sure.” In the short run, it wasn’t. In the long run, he envisions turning Twitter into “X”, which will include video ( e.g. Tucker Carlson ) and financial services. He will also add artificial intelligence. If he pulls it off, it could increase his original investment ten fold.

    Let’s approach it from the standpoint of affordability and market research. How many men can afford to spend $1,000 per hour and to do that on a regular basis ? Call it $50,000 per year. I’d estimate it would take a million dollar income ( $600,000 after taxes ) to afford that. That’s not the upper 1%. It’s more like 1 out of a thousand. Maybe those rates work in LA or NY but the provider would need to be in the upper 1% of looks to be considered. Are you ? How much could someone making $200,000 per year ( $140,000 after taxes ) afford ? That’s lawyer and dentist territory. Maybe $1,000 per month, but they’re more likely to drop $300 per encounter a few times a month. How about half the population with an income in the $60,000 to $80,000 range. In other words, your idea of broke and cheap. Forget about it.

    The first few times I went to Vegas, strip clubs were a big part of the agenda. As I realized what high price hustle joints they were, I felt like a chump every time I walked in. I’ll still go to Vegas for the overall experience but strip clubs aren’t part of it. On the other hand, Vegas is the center of the universe for March Madness. Enjoy the experience.

    Yes, that’s a big part of it. Plus, younger viewers don’t care about sports as much as the older generation, their screen time involves iPhones, and they expect free media. Then, there are the multi millionaire team owners and players who often are unlikeable assholes. And, the advertisers and their commercials are woke, trying to impose political views while insulting viewers. Meanwhile, if you go to a game in person, it costs a small fortune.

    One of the reasons we have inflation is all the “free” stuff provided by the government. It’s actually not free but the people who pay for it are different than the people who benefit. Imagine there were a grocery store where the person standing behind you would pay for your groceries. You’d fill your cart with steak and lobster. That’s our health care system. Medicare. Medicaid. No wonder we have the highest cost health care in the world.

    One table shows spending/GDP. The other debt/GDP. These are different things only partially correlated. The first table about spending was chosen to support my contention that government has grown dramatically. The second table about debt was used in response to your unrelated statement about debt after the civil war.
