Going to Strip Clubs, Wast of time??

I go because it sorta fills the void. It is not always what I expected. There are women who don't need to be dancing nude. It takes an actress who can pretend to like you and make you feel somewhat happy. She can set her own rules as to what she is willing to do. However, there is collateral damage, when it comes to any men's hearts. One can fall for the dancer and it is so hard to rid that feeling. It is even tougher, if the dancer sense it. She may ignore you or stop pretending. So, is it waste of time? You may fun, but.. watch out.. feelings can come out of no where. Plus, there is also, con artists out there, too. Some dancers will bait you and said that he will have a great time and then it was the worst time. Once I find a dancer I like, I tend to stick and be loyal. Guess, like all things, nothing ever last forever. I wish it could last a year or two, rather than six months. Sure, this may be a waste of time, since it is just for fun.

I know what you mean by dancers coming and going...of course strip clubs are a waste of time, but at least they are an enjoyable waste of time for me. I would rather "waste" my time in a strip club than a casino or in the stock market.

Well, winning money is fun, too. However, you cannot win at a strip club. You just lose money.

Well, money ain't the end all be all. My former employer was extremely sharp and wealthy. He always told me this crapola that *I* didn't need money. The truth was *he* didn't need money. He buys a mansion. He buys another mansion. He buys a Mercedes. He buys another Mercedes. He buys a woman. He buys another woman. He travels the world. He travels the world again. Sigh, poor man is all tired out of things to spend his money on and worse he is unhappy!!! His unhappiness is why he always told me that crapola (that he honestly believed) that *I* didn't money. Bottom line there are people who have much more money than they'd ever wish to spend and for whatever reasons they ain't happy. They might even rather waste time in a stripclub and get something valuable like a good time and entertainment rather than something worthless like more money. IOWs, for some the stripclub is a much better deal than the stock market.

I can understand the sentiment that strip clubs are a waste of time, and its true. But reading whghIost's story reminds me that's often similar to going to a regular bar can do the exact same thing without the nudity. It would be easier to block out the emotions which happen, but emotions can't be ignored.

How can doing something you wish to do be a "waste of time"? It might be a "waste of time" in someone else's opinion, but that does not constitute it being a "waste of time" in your life.

A person may perceive it as a "waste of time" in that they could or should have been doing something else. That something else is normally making money or positioning oneself to make money e.g. higher education. It can also be a "waste of time" in retrospection. For example, I loved spending time with my girlfriend. That wasn't the point. I desired more of a permanent type relationship wherein she desired more of a government marriage type relationship e.g. if the relationship fails the government should beat the living hell out of me. Her demand for a government marriage was a deal breaker after over a decade together----I didn't recover from the loss for many years. I wasted a lot of time that could have been better spent nurturing relationships with strippers. :)

Excellent post TUSCL_Brother. But, for a tiny minority it is an easy and fun job. That is a tiny minority, which feels like that. I had this sweetie over at Angels and probably the last thing on her mind was making money. Yes, I did pay her----it was like forcing money on her and then she'd insist on doing free dances. Some customers didn't like it because they just want to cum fast and go. They wouldn't like her wanting to spend time hanging out and she wasn't interested in just doing a fast service.

Some people think stamp collecting is a waste of time. Other people enjoy stamp collecting. It's just entertainment.

If you think Strip Club are a waste of time, then you are going to the wrong clubs. Not sure what area you are from, but there are plenty out there with good extra "service", these forums help lead you the right direction.

Strip clubs can be alot of fun but not to just talk to pretty girls, I think most of the fun is getting turned on by some hot girls and good contact in lap dances.

I cannot for the life of me imagine a better way to spend time. That said - It is a colossal waste of money :)

"Dancers are not con artists." Of course *some* are Bones...you should know better than that by now! The best description of a stripper that I've ever heard of came from a stripper's mouth herself: "We are professional money-makers." There is nothing wrong with that IMO...

I usually have fun at strip clubs so I don't believe having fun is a waste of time. Besides where else can you go and only spend a few dollars and see young naked women walking around while you sit back and drink a beer?

On the other hand, I need to work on my taxes and clean up my house a little. Choices, choices. hmmm, I might be able to do both. Lap dances should be a legitimate deduction when you itemize. We should write our congressmen. Is writing your congressmen a waste of time? Some think so.

Let's review: Making fun relationships. Good! Looking for love in all the wrong places. Not good! So... Chill out. Have fun. Escape one day at a time. Sooner or later you'll discover reality. Just be realistic along th3e way.

"Waste" of time? Maybe. "Use" of time? Definitely. "GOOD use" of time? Depends ...

whghlost: you are lost. All of your posts are about finding love in all the wrong places. I was discussing this with my ATF yesterday. We grouped customers into 3 categories. The old farts like me and my friends just looking to have fun, guys that are just into it for sex and young guys like you who haven't yet learned what strip clubbing is all about. Wake up before it is too late.

Hmmm judging from Shadowcat's assessment, I'm officially an old fart. A strip club is a great way to kill time. When I was a kid,I enjoyed pinball (you never got the money back from that either and the only "extras" were free games) now I enjoy hitting a strip club or three.

Finding love in a stripclub makes sense, if that is your background. It wouldn't make a whole lot of sense for me to be seeking a woman who is a true believer. Yes, I had thought my long time girlfriend was a true believer because she went to church every Sunday and wanted me to go as well. To my great surprise she didn't even believe in God let alone the teachings of the church. She did believe is social order and believed it was wonderful that the dummies had rituals and meetings to strengthen social bonds and keep 'em obedient. The woman that I should be looking for is lower income and lower education and counter-culture or ghetto culture or red neck culture. A stripper or hooker is ideal. A teacher not so much. A secretary not so much. And, it seems like most strippers realize that they're actually better off with the loser boyfriend than some upstanding citizen. Too bad the upstanding citizen can't comprehend that. I did see some strippers getting wet over military men, especially if the men were rough cut.

I think that plenty of men can find a "partner" in a strip club. Whether that's a girl who "loves" or, more accurately, simply "hangs with" him, is a different question. But it's not like they aren't human. The only point to make is that their business-time (while stripping, or while in the club mental zone) is unlikely to cross over into their personal-time (meeting someone they GENUINELY wish to interact with, and continuing that interaction on the basis of something other than a simple cash-for-services basis).
