Dancers Calling You by Your Name

Do dancers ever use your name or just call you by generic pet names? Granted, I’m pretty new to clubbing. It’s been just shy of a year that I’ve become a PL, there was a period of a few months where I was going regularly, I took a break, and now I’m getting back into it. I’ve developed good rapport with, gotten the numbers of, planned club dates, etc. with exactly 3 strippers and I recently came to the realization that none of them call me by name. It’s always “love”, “darling”, “babe” or I’m just not addressed by any kind of title. And I see them put my name into their phone, so I know they know it. Even with dancers I don’t end up escalating with, I always make it a point to shake their hand and introduce myself. I have not once been called my actual name by any of them, despite me always addressing them by name, and I find it curious. Is this part of stripper game to keep customers at arms reach, or is something else going on?

Just a coincidence IMO. Theyll call you by the name you give them, but some of them really like calling clients love or babe or sometimes daddy.
Some even have a strict boundary of never referring to a client as daddy. Probably a sign to leave them or expect no extras

I've noticed it too OP. Some I think it's because they don't remember. But even my ATF will rarely call me by name.

🤔 I wonder if they avoid names because they don't want to screw up and call you by another PL's name.

Never given it a second thought. Don’t think it means a thing one way or the other

I've noticed with the latinas a popular term is bby. That's almost automatic for them at this point I think and probably carries very little meaning other than keeping it simple.

My TJ ATF/s mostly address me by my name when we meet in person, but on the contrary in texting / WatApp chats it’s always by Amor, Carino…….etc (they never seem to address me by my name)😁

When they text customers and dont use names its a mass text. In the club its because they dont remember your name or theyre being flirty

I’ve never been mass texted. I always text first and only to plan a date, so it’s 1:1. You’d think it would be more flirty and intimate to use your actual name, which is why I suspect they never do. I know these ladies know my name because it’s in their phone and I’m making plans to come to the club specifically for them

Except for one bartender and one dancer at Desires, no one knows my name in the past 50 years.

A lot of dancers address me by my name. Many remember my name even though I don't theirs.

I almost never address them by name, it's always a generic name like honey. They mostly do the same. Really though, how often do you really use anyone's name in a one to one interaction? Especially in a text message. I mean, I know it's technically a business relationship but I'm not communicating with them that formally.

When texting the strippers in their 20's, most of them are abbreviating everything. It's not even love or baby, it's luv or bby. You really expect them to type out your name? And you type out their name? I might think they're using some sort of AI to automatically send out messages if I was addressed by name.

Also, do you care? I do not.

“how often do you really use anyone's name in a one to one interaction?” Often, because it’s polite. People like to hear their name. I do it with everyone, regardless of gender or context. And yes, I’ll use a dancer’s stage name over text and in person. It’s not that I expect them to use my name, I said it was an interesting realization I just had. Most people in their 20s, not just women, are retards. All the dancers that have made me feel the best have been in their mid 30s. It’s the sweet spot for life experience without being cynical or jaded and still pretty. And no, I don’t exactly care. What I said was, “I find it curious. Is this part of stripper game to keep customers at arms reach, or is something else going on?” You seem to have an attitude

It depends on how well they know me. Never heard a Cuban call me by name.

Interesting topic. So, I've had a few dancers who I was at least somewhat close to. In the closest relationship I had, we used each other's real name constantly, but our conversations were extremely intimate and unfiltered. Talking to each other on that level, it wouldn't have felt right to either of us to not be using our real names. But she's the only one that I've been THAT emotionally connected to, and the next closest relationship after her was a considerable step down in that regard.

Interestingly, most of the other dancers on my list of all time faves used my real name either sparingly or hardly at all. I'd occasionally find random dancers over the years who would use my name frequently, but rather than it being indicative of any actual connection, it was just something they were doing as a sales tactic. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it's not like I didn't know what they were up to...

In summary, dancers using my real name has run the gamut from "we were genuinely close" to "maybe he'll buy more dances if I use his actual name". The only conclusion I can draw from all of this is that I can't draw any conclusions. :)

The only thing I truly dislike is being called "baby". I think Janet Jackson said it best:

"No my first name ain't 'baby'...it's 'Janet'...'Miss Jackson' if you're nasty!"
