Frequency to be a regular?

mjx01Aspiring Global Hound
What do you all think needs to be the club visit frequency to qualify as a regular? IME I find that once per month isn't enough. I'm thinking every two-ish weeks is probably the sweet spot. (Obviously, more frequently would also be a regular but at some point it's sad/creepy.) Any thoughts? Thanks

last commentFrequently enough to be recognized and have girls and staff remember what (and who) you like. That's it.

Directly proportional to the amount of cash you drop. You drop $3k? You can be a regular if you come in once a year.

I'm with Hank Moody on this one. I show up to Vegas once a year (for three days straight), and anybody that was around from the year before remembers us.

I used to wonder if my monthly visits were frequent enough to qualify me as a regular. Based on the reception I get from the couple of girls I regularly get LDs from I’d say they consider me a regular. Even the dancers who I don’t get dances from generally recognize me.
I’m sure the girls I get dances from would consider me a better regular if I came in more frequently. But they seem appreciative that I consistently spend on them even if it is only once a month.

As long as they can remember you, you can be recognized as a regular. Obviously you want the ladies reaching you first and I think that is the benefit to be a regular who spends money on dances. Otherwise it is just like you go to a regular bar. It is not about the frequency only, it is about how much money you spend.

I go to my favorite club about once a month or even less. The girls I get dances and VIP from sure do remember me. The girls I have passed on remember me, too. They may smile or say hi, but do not ask for dances.
.
There are exceptions. I could have got FS from some girls just a few weeks ago and they absolutely do not remember me. Then there are others who claim to remember me from a visit a year ago and I absolutely do not remember them.

+1 for "if you're remembered."
I returned to Desire after a year and Chris remembered me like it was yesterday. Vanessa the bartender remembered my drink order too.

I had a stripper one time tell me she did not consider me a regular because I only came to her club once a month and also did lap dances with other girls in addition to her while I was there. I would consider once a month visits to a stripper being a regular but not more spaced out than that. Knowing my name is not a requirement or sitting with me is not a requirement. I think us just doing a couple lap dances together monthly or more puts a stripper in the regular category.

To doc's point, at my usual club, "regulars" are there once a week or even more. They make appointments with the girl they are going to take to VIP. I have seen some walk in, have a girl run up to them, immediately go to VIP and an hour later they head out the door.

Yeah sadly it’s gotten to the point at my local SC where the staff recognize me and even know what I order for a drink. And a lot of (not all) the dancers recognize me.

In my younger days I went to a particular club much too often for many years. It got to the point where the male bartender saw me walk in and just placed my beer on the bar at the spot where he knew I would sit.

I think simply being recognized or remembered is different from being a regular.

I'd say once every 2 weeks at least as a spender makes you a regular.

🟡 🏝️ 🌴 1 a week/2 times a month, or for really bare bones - 1 a month.
Luckily, I am da' pro @ strippers on da' internet, but I go when I can. I went twice recently. Will Be A Lil' Before Mi Next Visit, Hopefully Within Month Or 2 - 💵
I usually just pole dance tips, sit w/dancer & bar drinks |

GivenToFly makes a good distinction. I would say I am recognized, but not a regular.
.
A regular has a set time and/or day he goes. If he does not show people may wonder where he is. Dancers have his phone number. He checks with them to see when they are working. Most importantly, there is some dancer or dancers expecting to make $X from him on his usual day or days.

To me a regular is a known fixture at the club and gets some benefits for it.
Like I dont pay a cover. Get comped drinks. Preferential treatment from dancers. Know enough to chat about personal lives with staff. Know club gossip.

Being a “regular” isn’t always a good thing unless you spend money. Dancers at nearly every club I frequent will point to guys at the bar, roll their eyes and say “these guys are here every week, but never spend any money.”

Girls like that mean they never spend money on them.

Even if he is a bum she needs to understand the only real money in a club is what she holds in her hands

You're a regular when you see the bartender remove the "Reserved" sign from your favorite bar stool.

I hit the club about once a month and tip bartender and all dancers doing their tip walk . Tipping the bartender is always a wise move she can tell you who is in that shift . They remember you and your tip money .

Depends on the club, what you mean by being a regular, etc.
There's some clubs around here you could go to every week and not really be remembered by anyone except maybe one or two dancers if you got dances/rooms with the same ones every week. Other clubs you could go a few times a year and the entire staff would know who you were.
The same kinda thing applies with being treated like a regular, in some clubs they'll recognize you but not go out of their way or show any sort of appreciation for repeat business. At others, they'll comp entry & drinks, give you extra time in the rooms, reserve a seat for you, etc.
Of course, your MO greatly influences things too. A quiet customer who spends decent but not extravagant money and just sorta goes with the flow and doesn't stay long is much more likely to fly under the radar even after many visits than a flashy attention seeker who explicitly engages with staff and makes a spectacle of themselves after just a few visits. Being remarkable in other ways, like being super creepy or cheap, and or staying for long periods could also land you in the regular category after just a few visits.

Thanks y'all. Lot's off great comments. I'll add the following:
X1: Staff clearly recognize me, but dancers do not. IDK.
X2: "How much you spend" is an excellent point, I guess I'm too cheep.
X3: Or I'm a creep, but that should be a separate thread.

Mix01 that just makes you a club customer rather than a girls customer. Thats not a bad thing

If argue that benefits and perks make you a real regular vs just being known

@mjx01 To me, one's behavior in a club is far more consequential than the frequency of visits. Two different "regulars" for a given club can show up with the same frequency, and one may be liked tremendously, while the other is barely tolerated by the staff, the dancers, or both. Spend a little money, be kind and respectful...and you might be welcomed with open arms no matter how often you're there... :)
I've had multiple clubs that would let me in when they're not even open yet, or otherwise make exceptions to their usual rules or procedures. I've had multiple clubs where I've had the GM's cell phone number, and could inquire directly to them with any questions or issues. I've had multiple clubs where I knew the real names of so many dancers, that they would talk to me just like they would talk privately amongst themselves. So...regardless of how often one goes to a club, I think the key is to make a good impression during whatever time you do spend there...

Same here. I get to know staff and dancers outside the. Club. Know their names. Can use the manager and bouncer as my personal security. Get free drinks. Free bottles. Discounts on anything. Dancers love me. Waitresses fill me in on everything going on at the clubs.
Being a disliked regular is tye worst thing to be at the club next to being the ldk guy

^the free bottles are going to be cheap and there are no discounts unless you know the owner. Some clubs have specific % of funds that the club keeps and dancer keeps, i dont think they could discount it unless the owner approves of it
