Will we ever outgrow this hobby?

The ubiquitousness of boomers on TUSCL makes me hopeful that I'll continue to enjoy the hobby as I age.

I think a much younger version of myself would be surprised that current me is so into the hobby.

Most people outgrow it. I am pretty sure that when I retire at 70 that will be it for me. Never felt the same post pandemic to me and as I age, I am less willing to settle and far more willing to just walk away

Why would i want to outgrow this hobby? I enjoy women.

In every job I've had, the old men were going to strip clubs, chasing tail looking at porno magazines and visiting hookers.

I started going to strip clubs and bikini bars in my teens half century ago. There were many old timers then and always have been.

I am younger than most on here. I think I'll be doing it until it's too much effort to maintain erection. I don't think I'll ever outgrow the hobby in a maturity sense. My only way to stop would be if I am in a committed relationship.

Next year may effectively be my last. When we sell the boat, it will be a lot more difficult for me to go clubbing.🫤

Will *I* ever outgrow this hobby? I don't think I ever will. To paraphrase the OP, my obsession with getting laid is still about the same as it was when I was a teenager. And that was many, many, *many* decades ago.

If my friends stop going with me, I'll probably stop. The girls nowadays don't bother hanging out and the ones that do I have no interest in them.

On my last trip, the scene at most places (except for Bogarts and Hanks) were literally dominated by old white guys, white hair, receding hairline, thick glasses, like a uniform. They got all the attention.

I'm mid-40s and my desire comes and goes, but it's generally on the downswing as the novelty and subversive thrill of it wears off. Whatever happens, happens.

Well, I am 70. And didn't discover lap dance fun until about 7 years ago.

And am in a committed relationship (44 years married). I just find the 2 way fondling a lot of fun. Suspect I will for quite a while still.

I just renewed my drivers license so I'm good to drive to the clubs until I am 90. Not sure about renewing my license after that.

I dont hire hookers. I don't know if I will. If I wont be able to attract young women Ill probably invest in botox or some fillers. Keeping my body in shape will help. But if I really come to that point I probably will. Its hard to predict

I actually have more drive now. And I;ll take 7's and 8's now, when I was 20, I was a dumb idiot who only wanted 9+ and got practically zip.

If I don't die of something more specific (like heart disease), I assume that, at some point, physical decline due to aging will take away my sex drive. I wouldn't call that "outgrowing", no growth involved. My enjoyment of sex has declined, but it's still better than anything else I could do with the money.

I don’t think I’ll outgrow, but I may have to stop at some point. I like cheap clubs, if the price keeps going up it will price me out. I don’t get out as much and don’t have nearly as good of time as I used to. Partly because I’m not a regular anymore and partly the dancer’s behavior has changed. Lastly if I move to an area that my type of club (urban, cheap, grimey) is not easily accessible then I’m out the game, part of my decrease in getting out is I moved farther from the city.

It hasn't gotten old for me at all. I still get stoked when I'm in a new city for clubs, you just have no idea what your gonna run into. Could be bad, could be awesome that's kind of the fun of it. Although I'm running out of new cities in North America so I don't know if it's gonna be the same fun when your repeating. I mean there's always places like Europe and Australia but it's kind of a huge pain in the ass to get out there.

I gotta to say though I would lose interest over time if I was just stuck going to same two or three clubs all the time.

I have gotten burnt on some things though. Like skibum I just feel like walking from bad deals way more. Just fold and save your money for something good, that oppurtunity is gonna arise just wait for it, that money ain't going bad. (minus inflation)

And I've also burnt out on a lot of ITC. If she's really hot and doesn't do OTC then maybe I will if it's a good opportunity but the days of spending $300-$500 of something I'm not in love with are over. At first your like this awesome but I could use that money way better, I'll take the lap dance LDK for way less, it really ain't that much different. Don't get me wrong fucking is still fun as ever but it's the paying that much for fucking in a shitty setting, that does get old.

I remember when I was in my 60's and my fellow Tuscl member Shadowcat was early 70's. At the time I wondered if I would still be active at that age.Well, I turned 74 in October and last week spent 3 hours I two clubs in Florida (reviews soon).
The only things that prevent me from going more often are the rising lap dance prices and my limited time to travel to clubs. For most of my strip clubbing career, lap dances were $10. Now, the clubs I like charge $30 . Even with all the inflation, the increase seems hard to justify.
