Madeliene Khan was Oscar nominated for this. Unusual at the time for a comedy like this. She might have even won. Can't remember. Loved "The Sherrif is near!" and "authentic western gibberish!"
I bought Blazing Saddles on Fios, but then I went and got the DVD also because I'm afraid it might get banned eventually.
Since it's the villains who are the racists, I don't see why it would be banned. Except at colleges with too many hormonal rich white kids. The only character who might get censored is the governor's secretary, because of #metoo.
