Dancers with their own web sites?

Not currently, although a lot of feature dancers have them.

Many have myspace pages.

I have known two that appeared on pay web sites. They didn't make any money and dropped out.

I have mostly run across dancers posting only on public forums, like zbone, stripperweb, and of course TUSCL. The few that I have seen with their own sites are no longer dancers, and have moved up into the wonderful world of internet porn.

One of my favorites used to have one, but she dropped it when she realized how much she would have to pay. About four or five years ago, I met a dancer who had one, but she was also a musician in a band who did dancing whenever singing didn't pay the bills. I think it would be weird to see a girl singing in a band one day and dancing at the stripclub the next.

I know a few that have myspace or photobucket. A lot of time there's family stuff and I end up knowing a lot more about them than I really wanted to. Seeing pictures of a dancer with her 5yo son at Grandma and Grandpa's 50th anniversary falls well outside my fantasy.

There are several mildly overweight "soft" girls from clubs I know about, who have a fetish ring going. They aren't physically hot enough to just be stunningly attractive standing up there on their own; so they've figured out that if they spend some money on latex outfits and web hosting they can fool themselves into thinking that they're hot instead. They charge membership to the pictures sections, and they enjoy sitting for the photoshoots, but two of them have told me that none of their websites is even breaking even.

Shoulda spent the money on going to a gym.

Phoenix Blaque has a website. If memory serves me she used to post here with some regularity. It's been a while since I've seen any of her self promotions encouraging folks to come see her dance at a certain club in Clearwater so I can't say if she is still on the pole. She has accomplished so much more than mere dancer fame. She matriculated from lingerie shop "model" to videos to escort to stripper to stripper who claims she no longer escorts- a versatile talent...lol. Anyway, she has an active website promoting some freaky shit she's done on video. She mentions being a dancer but that's not the focus of what she is selling. Her name plus dot com.

There is another site whose name escapes me featuring a Florida gal who went from Dominatrix to dancer. Her website has a blog where she openly discusses the clubs she dances in. The twist here is that she will have her "clients" come see her when she dances and then writes about it.

There must be more out there but these two are the ones that come to mind...

Some of this sounds like the Suicide Girls website, which jogs my memory about a RI strip club "celebrity" of some kind...Molly Heartbreaker...she has a website too. Not exactly my cup of tea either way. There used to be a stripper in Montreal that had a pretty cool blog too, but I haven't seen her post there in a while.
