Fun fact: One might assume that the unusual design must have some historic meaning or date back to the founding of the team in the early 20th century. The truth is they wanted to add some style to their uniforms in the early 1990's and asked Chapel Hill native, former UNC attendee, and fashion designer Alexander Julian to redesign the look. That's what he came up with.

The Ravens all black combination. There is something about the appearance of the all black combining the purple. I also am a fan of Marlins units with the Miami Vice theme.

Without a doubt the old AFL Chargers uniforms with the powder blue jerseys, yellow gold pants and the lightening bolts. Hate the dark blue and white pants

St Louis Cardinals home white with birds on the bat pretty classic

MLB: yeah, I love the As and Dodgers home whites...so clean. Tigers home whites with that old English D is perfection,

NFL: Lions in Honolulu blue, and those old BUCS creamsicles with the pirate biting the knife on the helmet

NBA: early 90s (as opposed to late) Sonics green, mid-90s Suns black, Hawks red (or was it black?) with the hawk clutching the ball

NHL: SOOOOO many are awesome. Hartford Whalers, Coyotes kachina, Red Wings just got named the best by some online pub, Blackhawks reds are among the best in all of sports and should never be changed. The old Islanders Van de Kamps were fantastic. Nordiques blue, Panthers red, Lightning blue... I remember being like 12 years old and totally stoked for a hat from the new team with the killer logo: SJ Sharks. Actually, that one might be way up at the top. Sharks blue jerseys are awesome.

Motorhead - yeah, StL Cardinals whites are classic.

Pearl Jam concert posters change for each show, and the artists usually make them tie in to the location. I would love to get my hands on the Cardinals-esque poster from a show they did in StL.

People make fun of them but I always thought they were pretty cool

MLB: Home whites of the Dodgers, Cardinals, and RedSox (ya the Yankees white pinstripes are classic but I hate the fucking Yankees, go RedSox).

NFL: Home unis of Raiders (silver pants black jerseys), Steelers (black jerseys), Packers (dark green jerseys), and Colts classic white. But ya, the Chargers AFL unis are pretty damn cool.

These are the best football jerseys in my opinion.

As far as NCAA, I mean blue is my favorite color, so I did Carolina's blue. Michigan home jerseys blue shirt, yellow pants, Illinois football has some cool combos, FSU's helmet is pretty sweet, UCLA blues are nice. But don't sleep on Purdue; when they go black on black on black for home games...that looks wicked.

Maybe I’m not fan of green - but always have hated the Jets and Packers uniforms or any college basketball team that wears green - Marshall is one that comes to mind

Maryland football was one of the first college teams to sign with Under Armor. It seemed like they had a new uniform every week as UA was trying to do with them what Nike does with Oregon. They had a lot of hideous uniforms but had a few cool ones in there too.

I borderline hate all these teams but PSU, Michigan, ND, basic classic uniforms with no names on the back… just look old school and cool to me especially when their opponent is in something blinged out.
