Your opportunity to renegotiate occurred when she informed you of her condition, which essentially voided your initial deal. You agreed to the updated terms of your agreement at that point. She's not completely without blame, she could have handled it better by informing you prior to showing up. You could have renegotiated or rescheduled at that point with no hard feelings.
