  She's full of shit. She is fucking hideous. Unless she found the Elon Musk of body freak perverts, she won't clear $1M after decades on OF. I do believe that her LL may have raised her rent from $2300 to $4800, but only because $2300 is waaaay below market rates on a 4BR in Miami.

  I'm not sure how I feel about the whole situation though. She says she's not doing anything illegal a whole bunch of times, but realistically if she's working in the US without a work permit she is. And like 3/4 of Miami saw their rents increase like that in the last year. Many Miami leases also have clauses about not shooting porn or paying extra to shoot it. Feels more like another case of someone getting a taste of real life and crying about some perceived discrimination than actual discrimination.

  I really thought about trying to be nice about this but the nicest I can be is saying she's the gross type of woman that our troll iceydougster loves to post about claiming how beautiful she is.
  
  IMO the reason she's publicly whining is because she's increasing the publicity she gets which she hopes will increase her income. All publicity good or bad is good.

  Well I mean if you think you can get that extra 1500/ month why not I guess? He was either going to get it or be able to legally evict and charge more to someone else even if it was only say a couple hundred more he wins either way. Like TheeOsU says publicity is always good and the victim mentality sells for news.

  Rents have doubled in the last six months they built a rental compl a few blocks away from my property rents for 840 square foot apartment with two bedrooms and bathrooms are $3600. A 1270 square foot with three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms is $4400.
  Crazy pricing on rentals these days.

  Prices have been going up for quite a while, but now it's becoming a perfect storm, interest rates rising are pricing buyers out of the market for new homes, too many folks chasing too few available residences it's come to a head in the last six months. Buying a house in some areas is difficult.

  There's a new wrinkle coming down the road, I've gotten a few solicitations from realtors asking me if I would sign an agreement with them allowing them to have the listing in the future with a cash payment for that agreement of $3-5K

  This would be tragic if not for the fact that all of these tabloid news stories are fabricated, and the "victims" happily agree to be the focus of the story because it drives traffic to their OF account.

  Its off topic but I'm gonna go with it. The new, to me at least, wrinkle I've seen has been companies looking to "invest" in residential properties. They send out fliers saying they'll give you 50k or whatever, no interest, no payments, blah blah blah. But, they own 10% of the property and you gotta pay em at sale. The ones I've seen have grossly undervalued the properties, I wonder how many people are signing up for that free 50k without fully understanding what they're doing.
